“Our 4 nights at Amritara were the best experience so far in India. The hospitality and friendliness is outstanding. From communicating with the manager to book to the friendly reception we received by Harikrishna to the delicious food Sunny cooked for us twice a day and the lovely housekeeping ladies, this was a highlight for us. The tents are beautiful, decorated with heavy teak furniture, comfortable bed and great balcony chairs, we had huge windows to view the river and the lush landscape.……

Only a small part of the food menu was available and it was a 40 minute drive to the town. We requested cutlery, not supplied. Pepsi was warm as the kitchen fridge had been turned off. At breakfast, as westerners, we requested fried eggs on toast. Despite showing pictures of what we were and asking for, by the third attempt we……

“Spectacular location and the treehouse was amazing. The resort is tired though, and the dining facilities themselves are fine but the crockery was dirty. We are glad we visited, but one night for us was perfectly enough.”
