“Beautiful converted convent recently refurbished to a high standard. Simple rooms with high quality bedding and towels.. Bottled water was provided as well as toiletries.
Breakfast was good value and the lounges comfortably furnished and beautifully decorated
The staff were very friendly and helpful . The hotel is just a few minutes from the town with bars and restaurants and a few metres from the botanic garden and castle viewpoint . ”

“Atmospheric quirky hotel. Retains convent feel.
Nice staff; good restaurant at night.
Note it doesn’t do breakfast but good cafe nearby. No reception before noon. Good base for Bilbao - on commuter line to central station , one hour trip with regular trains .”
