Whether you are visiting for work or for pleasure, you will feel completely relaxed in "The Terrace Retreat". This adorable 2 BR, 1 bath, newly furnished and updated 1940s gem provides all the comforts of home. After a restful night's sleep, wake up to an espresso, tea, or coffee while sitting in the sunroom or outdoors in the peaceful backyard. In the evening, take a walk in the tranquil and safe neighborhood, and close out your evening under the decorative lighting or around the firepit.

This quaint, older home has been fully updated while keeping it's original charm. New exterior with fenced in yard, larger carport, and new concrete patio. All NEW windows added in March 2023 so that you can enjoy the cooler nights and fresh air filling the home while you sleep.

Enter through the bright and cheerful sunroom, equipped with a sofa with lounger, as well as a large flat screen TV. The natural light shines in through all the windows in this comfy space. There is also a brand new washer and dryer for your use.

Enter from the sunroom, through original pocket doors, into the living room or the kitchen. In the fully stocked kitchen , enjoy the coffee bar equipped with a Breville Barista Espresso Maker, Tea, and coffee maker. Also provided are all the kitchen utensils and cookware necessary to make a wonderful meal. You may also decide to grill your meal on the easy to use gas grill sitting on the patio.

There is a small dining area through the kitchen where you can have meals while looking into the lovely front yard.

Down the hall there is a newly updated (9/23) and nicely decorated bathroom with a tub/shower.

The master bedroom includes a cozy King sized bed with lots of natural light. Watch the large flat screen TV or fall to sleep reading your favorite book.

In the second bedroom, relax in the comfortable Queen sized bed while reading or just looking for a restful night of sleep. There is no TV in this room. But there are large TVs in all other rooms for your enjoyment.

We had a wonderful stay. It is convenient to town, the college, the hospital, and good food. The home was a comfortable place to meet our daughter for a visit, football, and fellowship. Everything was clean and well maintained. We will visit again.

Cute house, quiet neighborhood. We stopped here overnight on our way to florida. We arrived late at night so we didn't have the pleasure to enjoy all the amenities but our dogs really enjoyed the fenced in back yard after being stuck in the car all day!! Would stay here again.

Graduation weekend

Loved staying here for the second time! This sweet home is very clean and lovely. Staying at this home instead of a hotel afforded us room for our daughters to dress for graduation. We were able to cook for them in the well appointed kitchen. The fenced yard was perfect for our dog. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!

Loved the home!!! So cute and comfortable.Just personal as I like super soft beds and these beds are very, very firm but,....that is a personal preference. Highly recommend!!Nice to have a fenced in yard since traveling with pets!! Will definitely rebook.

The Perfect Place

This home was perfect for me, my husband, son and 2 dogs.The home is adorable, clean and centrally located. And Mary was amazing!! We had a problem, but even on Christmas Day she was responsive and resolved the issue! We will definitely be staying here again!!

Lovely stay in a lovely neighborhood

Extremely comfortable stay here in Valdosta. We will definitely be back when in the area. COMPLETELY updated property. I’ve never stayed in such a clean and well-appointed rental. We loved watching tv in the sunroom. Every room was relaxing. Appreciated the shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispenser in the shower. It was perfect for our dogs too - wonderful backyard!! The owner was extremely attentive too!

Cute Rental in Valdosta

We enjoyed our one night stay in this home. It was perfect for our needs. Clean and beautifully decorated inside and out. The master king bed was very comfortable. The neighborhood was very quiet and we enjoyed a short walk. We will definitely rent again when we drive to Florida. Thank you Mary for your great communication.

Wonderful Place if Staying in Valdosta, GA!

If you are planning to stay in Valdosta, GA, I highly recommend you choose to stay at this house hosted by Mary! Everything was wonderful about our experience from staying at the house to communicating with Mary. It was a perfect place to stay for the night with our dog—felt like a home away from home! The outdoor fire pit and grilling area is great and the inside of the house is super clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. I can’t say enough about the house and our overall experience. Thank you, Mary, for being a gracious host and having a fantastic place to stay in Valdosta, GA! :)

Lovely home!

Stayed here for a weekend while visiting my daughters at Valdosta State. This home is lovely; it is even prettier than the photos. The remodel shows attention to detail: the shiplap, flooring, window coverings are all top notch. We were able to cook for the family in the well appointed kitchen and the yard is welcoming and clean. The grill works great and is clean while the fire pit is easy to use, and the girls enjoyed sitting by it in the evening. This is an excellent rental, and we hope to be back soon!

Amazing property and owner!

This property is exactly as described! Well taken care of yard and house. Beautiful neighborhood and clean. Quiet neighborhood close to everything you need. The house is super cozy!! Mary is very quick to respond back to messages and help you and she's very sweet. I highly recommend Marys property if youre wanting to visit Valdosta,GA. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would give the property 10 stars! Thank you Mary for your hospitality, hopefully we'll be able to come back!
