「Some good, some bad... We arrived late in the evening and had a nice welcome. There were some petit fours in our room and it looked very attractive, if very cold. The bed and bed linen was good and the (small) bathroom attractively fitted out. But beneath the surface there are obvious problems. The foyer had a bad damp smell. The heating consists of an air conditioning unit in each room, which was noisy and not particularly effective. The electric towel rail did not heat up. The coldness...

「Good but no parking in hotel.」

「I have stayed a few times over the years and i think its a great value pub with rooms i stayed 3 nights and my room was good as always, the team were all good and i would recommend to friends and family without hesitation.」

「The hotel is nice with clean spacious rooms. The furniture and decor need some improving as they are mismatched and the information in the room is very limited. No information about the grounds or the area. Most disappointing spa. It was filthy with clumps of hair in showers and plastic dirt and hairs by the poolside and dirty tea cups. The alarming thing was we returned the second morning and it was still the same. No cleaning had taken place over night. The spa is advertised as a relaxing...

Reception were helpful & friendly; my room was very spacious and everything worked, Breakfast was excellent, with a buffet including three types of mini-pastry, fresh fruit as well as cereals and typically English fried foods. But the best of all was the indoor pool - note it's only open to 8pm at weekends,...

「Staff was excellent. Food in restaurants were very good. Plenty of option and good portions」

「Staff made the experience - they were exceptional. Really helpful and friendly. Having the garden gate opening directly onto the New Forest was a huge bonus, especially as we were travelling with our dog.」

We landed in early morning and with a check in time at 3pm, they tried their best to arrange a room for us before 1pm. What's more, they had our luggage delivered to our room before we even asked for it. And they kindly offered us a late check out. The room is spacious but the light is a bit dim and the bathroom is a bit small. The Jetty restaurant is...
