「The staff was wonderful! Every person we encountered was friendly and helpful all the way to the general manager. The room was lovely, elegant and quiet. We stayed there to catch the train back to Penn Station and it was perfect. The hotel is an old candle factory, hence the name “The Wick” and the decor pays homage to that fact. If you are looking for a quiet, lovely hotel this is the place. Others have mentioned the lack of a view, but the hotel itself makes up for that!」

「We spent a long weekend, looking at the leaves in the Catskills. Our stay at the Crystal Brook Resort & Mountain Brauhaus was wonderful. While the accomodations were retro, it was a clean and comfortable room. The staff, family actually, were amazing, friendly and cheerful. The meals, breakfasts and dinner were hardy, and delicious. (The leaves were also right at peak, so that is a plus.)」
