"We weren’t too sure about the location or area. However, upon entering the hotel, we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel had been updated in a modern, tasteful way, and was clean. Our room was beautiful and spacious. We were glad we chose the Portlander Hotel!"
"Stayed for 4 days and 3 nights, no daily housekeeping but it’s affordable for what u get and you can ask for a towel refresh. Breakfast and managers snack with complimentary daily drink from bar was an amazing touch. I really enjoyed the safe gated parking lot for our car. Pool was small and always full but still enjoyable stay would stay again. Great service from front desk and all other staff. AC in room worked great. "

"Very helpful, pleasant staff, very good lighting in parking area, liked the security of requiring a cardkey for entry, excellent water pressure, nice breakfast.
Suggest more consistent or double security for the property to better deter the non-guests frequenting the property, or maybe a high electric-gate and surrounding fence. The security responded quickly to the persons looking inside cars but maybe double security or a gate will help.
Suggest using same deodorizer in rooms as used in lobby."
