This hotel is very close to the Ghat but to get there, you need to contact the owner and get somebody from the hotel to lead you there. No car access, but that would be true about most hotels on the Ghat. The area is stinky and smelly, often the smell permeates to the room. But again: this would be true about any hotel on the Ghat.
The room was not too expensive, but the price you get only basic comfort. No working TV, internet in the room very slow, you need to go to a lobby for this. Often power outages (not long though). Interesting mixture of people in the hotel. The hotel can organize the transport from/to the airport and a morning boat trip on Ganges. The rooms and toilets correspond more to Indian local standards. I was not successful to develop any friendship with the owners and the stuff, which often is a benefit of staying in small hotels.
Briefly: next time I would rather choose a different place to stay. But if you look for simple and not-that-expensive accommodation, this hotel might be a correct choice.
