Great location in Velas, beautiful property with pool, sitting deck with ocean view, sunsets and Morro Grande view and hiking within 10 minutes walk. Close to supermarket and restaurants, ideal location in Velas. Good buffet breakfast. Beds were a little too firm for me but great for my partner...highly recommended for location, cleanliness and great staff!

The staff spoke English and were very helpful. The location of this hotel was perfect! If you want to see the stone arch, it is next door to the hotel. If you want to swim in the natural pool, it is on the other side of the hotel. The hotel also has a pool and lovely grounds. The breakfast is great, as well. Sao Jorge Gardens if definitely a place I will stay again.

Bartender was great! A+ for a positive attitude, attentiveness, and willingness to make sure you enjoy your drinks and your stay. Hotel grounds were very nice, hammock was a pristine environment with the view, the nice breeze, and comfort to relax and enjoy the island and hotel. Room was very clean, bathroom especially was spotless. Two twin beds setup was a bit odd for a couple traveling but we made it work ! Breakfast was nice and staff ensured all tables were clean and food available. Would recommend this hotel. The view was incredible and the piscina naturale just West of the hotel was an amazing experience with the clear blue water , lounge chairs, snack bar, and cliff jumping.

The hotel is simply beautiful. It is very private with the most peaceful view of the ocean and pool surrounded by palm trees and mountains. It offers an unbelievable breakfast with something for everyone. The property is very well maintained, clean and staff very pleasant and always willing to accommodate. It has an excellent location with a 10 minute along the ocean to center and ferry. S Jorge is a beautiful, lush island and S Jorge Garden did an amazing job incorporating the same beauty into their grounds. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again.
