CA' LESSIA - LOVE NEST IN VENICE

This new apartment with its private entrance is ideal for a couple.

It is located on the Fondamenta Cannaregio, so in a very convenient location for travelers both for its proximity to public transport and to reach the various tourist destinations on foot.

The apartment is on the ground floor, on a raised level. It is furnished in a modern style with exposed beams. The accommodation consists of: a unique environment divided into a relaxation area and a dining area; a modern, compact and well-equipped kitchen (here you will find a fridge with freezer, electric oven, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, coffee machine, electric kettle, as well as everything else necessary for cooking and preparing your table); a bedroom with a double bed; a bathroom with a large walk-in shower. Also available an internal court for exclusive use for guests, where you can enjoy your aperitif and dinner in perfect relaxation!

Also here you will find: a safe, a dock station, 2 LCD TVs, independent heating, air conditioning, wireless connection.

For the exclusive use of guests we offer a small private court.



The sights of Venice are well known all over the world.

It is wonderful to discover them both on foot and by vaporetto. Here, around every corner, you will find the typical restaurants, where you can taste the traditional Venetian food with a glass of local wine.

The nearest places of interest are: one of the major bridges in Venice Ponte Tre Archi, Church of San Giobbe, Jewish Museum.

The unmissable places to visit are Piazza San Marco with its majestic Basilica and the bell tower that offers a breathtaking view; the Rialto Bridge with the magnificent view of the Grand Canal, its shops for every taste. This experience allows you to immerse yourself in an atmosphere of ancient Venice. Another attraction not to be missed is taking walks along the Venetian streets outside the tourist routes, discovering the hidden wonders in the eyes of strangers: the churches with masterpieces of world-famous painters, the smaller islands, canals, small squares , the typical shops.

Venice offers to guests special events throughout the year: Christmas, New Year, Carnival in February, the festival of the popular Redeemer in July, the Biennale exhibition every summer, the Venice Film Festival in September.

Great Location

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The location was easy to access and right on the water. Bed was comfortable. All on one level which was nice. Only minor comment the cleaning of the kitchen is not included in the cleaning fee. Not a big deal- we cleaned the kitchen before we left however there were no paper towels.

This was a perfect location - close to the train station but away from the pedestrian traffic - accessible to restaurants, markets and water transportation. The apartment itself was great for a couple, fully equipment, quiet and comfortable. Communication with the host was easy and timely, Would reserve again.

The location of the property is really nice. Tucked away enough to not be plagued by tourist crowds but close enough to walk wherever you want to go. The only things that were kind of a bummer is there happened to be a HUGE construction trailer parked right in front of our door so the view of opening the front door and seeing the canal was completely blocked. I don't think it was the hosts fault but a little heads up would have been nice instead of a surprise. The other bummer was there is a laundry machine in the unit which I planned on using on our trip but there was no detergent at the place and finding some nearby was very difficult. Other than that the property was fine for a place to sleep and shower.

Good location, easy to get around on water bus

We stayed here four days, I would have given it a 5 star but there was an issue with the bedroom skylight shutters that didn't close all the way so we got the early morning light shining in the room, I did message the owner and he said they can check it out towards the end of our stay, also there's no dryer or a line to hang the clothes outside in the courtyard.

The perfect place with a view canal

My husband and I stayed three days on Venezia. The locations is perfect for those that love the canal view, mixed with the authentic Venice lifestyle. The apartment is roomy, well decorated, clean, and in a save neighborhood. It is within walking distance to the Piazza di San Marcos and others tourist attractions. We even walk from the train station at our arrival. However ,if you have a heavy suitcase is better take the vaporeto which the stop provided in instructions is a few steps from the property. The food on the area at the local restaurants is delicious, the prices are razonable without sacrificing quality. The comunicación with the host was top notch from the beginning, he respond every questions we have and was easy to get in touch with. I will definitely stay here in the future.

There were several issues. There is plaster falling off the walls and actual wet wall damage in the master bedroom in two main areas. There is mold like black spots all over the bathroom ceiling. And dust black dots that appear on the floor even after you sweep repeatedly The Ac works very weakly in the living room There are too many knick knacks all over the place I took pictures of the dust , white powder paint around the perimeter of all the walls ,mold and wet damaged walls in the bedroom. The tiles are in desperate need of regrouting. There are no hooks in the bathroom to hang a towel.

Great spot when in Venice for a few days

We truly enjoyed our stay in the unit as it was well taken care of and the check-in process was hassle-free. The location was away from much of the hustle and bustle, so it certainly added to the charm! Water transport and anything you would really need was in close proximity.

No a/c and shower head broken

I communicated each day with Lionhost explaining the a/didn't work. They made one suggestion that was ridiculous. It never did work. Also, the shower head is completely broken and needs to be replaced ASAP. Since this property was not as advertised, i expext a eesponse and credit. I'm planning to go on social media and say the sMe. Chech the property yourself and you will agree.

You can’t go wrong ring with this property!

The flat was as pictured, clean and very easy to get to. The location near the train station means less hassle with your bags, easy in and out for the small Venice streets. It’s close to everything but far enough away to be quiet. It’s tucked at the end of a quieter street, and the sunset views and nearby restaurants are lovely. Nothing negative at all to say…book it today! Bonus: we were able to store our bags even though we arrived before check in since the last renter was out. Thomas was easy to reach via email and very accommodating. The only hitch was in the check in emails, as I have a unique spelling there was some issue getting them. It left me a bit anxious, but that was resolved easily and quickly. It was nice using the drop box so you don’t have to do a walk through with or wait on someone. Perfection.

Amazing home, perfect for couples!

This home was so nice to stay in during our time in Venice! It was very clean and very well decorated. You are just a short walk away from restaurants and shops. It was so nice being right by the water and made our stay in Venice feel even more authentic.

Perfect for a couple!

This was a nice, clean place to stay while in Venice. It's away from the main tourist area, so it's quite at night. There is a water taxi stop just a few steps from the front door, so you can be at any of the main tourist places in minutes. The heat and air worked well, and the bed was comfortable. The place was also stocked with commonly needed amenities, which was nice. The property owner was very quick to respond to any messages we sent during our stay. My only complaint was the sky lights above the bed; there wasn't a way to close them at night to prevent light from coming in early the next morning (that we could find, at least), so it gets very bright in the early mornings in the bedroom. Maybe there is a way and we just weren't aware of it. Overall, a great place to stay!
