Fantastic place to stay in Venice. There is no breakfast availability here but that was not a problem as there were loads of options in the surrounding area. St Marks square is less than a 10 minute walk away so it’s close enough to the lively centre but far away enough that you don’t have the street noise. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the bed is comfortable. The views from the room are stunning and include views of the canals. If we were to ever come back we would definitely stay here again. It was perfect.

Loved this place!

Everything was amazing. Location was central, but quiet. Communication was easy from pre-arrival to check-out. View from room was magical. Room was well appointed. A complimentary bottle of Prosecco left for us. We went for a romantic stay and every detail was perfect.

Perfect all round

Lovely room. Clean and perfect location, with easy access to it all. Bed was super comfortable and hearing the singers pass on the gondolas was lovel. Staff were all very friendly. Exactly what we wanted. View looked exactly like the pictures.

The staff was excellent. Extremely helpful and professional . Excellent location. Easily walkable to St Marks, Rialto Bridge, and so many great Venice locations. Quiet area. Definitely recommend getting a water taxi the first time you arrive. Outstanding place to stay in Venice and you'll likely never have better service anywhere.

Our stay at Domus Superior was fair. I think our room was a bit impractical. We stayed on the 3rd floor. There is no elevator, which is common in Italy, but at the least, someone should be able assist guest with luggage upon arrival. In our room, you also had to climb 15 steps upstairs to use the bathroom. This was a bit annoying at times. Additionally, there was no closet storage. The “closet” we had was a bar to hang a couple items on and was also up those 15 steps. Which is exhausting and went unused because no one wants to lug stuff up those steps after already climbing 3 floors. Also, when the cleaning personnel came by, they asked to clean the room. Since we were still getting ready for the day, we asked them to come back in an hour and he basically said no, 15 minutes or no cleaning. So we opted out of cleaning for that day. The location was great, we paid for a room on the canal, which actually wasn’t really that nice considering it was on the third floor. Overall, the room seems slapped together and poorly built.

Great location, once you find it. If coming in by train, arrange for the private water taxi to get you to the "front" door (waterside) as this would have been a challenge finding it the first time. Beautiful room, cozy, great location, would stay again!

Good location, nearby places to eat. Room clean, comfortable and stylish. If you want gondolas going past your window, singing, playing the accordion, then this is the place. It’s right behind the Fenice Theatre so gets the atmosphere with the gondola. There’s a local mini mart if you want to stock up. Whilst there is someone available all the time, this is not your typical hotel. There is no eating available at the premise so you need to go out, but food is close by. The owners have recommendations of restaurants etc. Would we go back…. Yes.

Great place!! disappointing service

I really wanted to give this hotel a ten star. The location, cleanliness, and overall condition of the place was perfect. What was disappointing was the service and attitude of the staff. They didn’t clean our room and banged on our door multiple times to check out even though we were only 10 minutes past check out time. Also, who has check out at 10:30 anyway? Shouldn’t it always be 11?
