This was a great place to stay. The apartment was in a quiet neighborhood but only a few minutes walk to San Marco and the Vapporetto stations. It was clean and comfortable. Would definately stay again.

We had a great experience during our stay in Venice! The check-in process was efficient and the staff were responsive, knowledgeable, and pleasant. La Casetta di Foscolo had many amenities, a great location, and plenty of space for our family of 3. It was helpful to have a washing machine and air conditioning, but it was difficult to cool the space with the high humidity inside the residence. We would recommend a stay at La Casetta di Foscolo! Thank you!

Great location

A beautiful walk to old town along the river, just under a mile. Pizzeria and a desert cafe very close by. Clothes washer was a little tricky, so get a thorough orientation. Otherwise, it was great stay.

Great stay! Very nice staff and very clean apartment. Location was good, easy walking distance to the main areas for shopping and dining but still very quiet at night. Would definitely love to stay here again.

Quiet and location location location

This apartment is so centrally located to St. Marks and Arsenale area...yet it is a quiet neighborhood that is safe and inviting. The canal is a road next to the building. Magnifico

Terrific location!

We had a great stay. The location was perfect and it was very clean and well equipped. We really appreciated the ease of communication usings WhatsApp. The only complaint was that the address listed on the VRBO site is not the actual address. We filled the VRBO address using Goole maps and ended up on the other end of town. Make sure you follow the address that the property manager provides not VRBO.

Quaint apartment in a quiet neighborhood.

The apartment had a kitchen and had proper equipment. We were able to cook meals several times. The space was great. Our view was street level in a quiet quaint alleyway. The manager met us at the apt and answered all our questions. He was very kind even when he had to wait 15 minutes due to our ferry being late.

Great Venice Apartment

Perfect for our family of 3. Fantastic location - can walk everywhere and close distance to St. Mark’s Square, Doge’s Palace and Rialto Bridge. So many restaurants and shops everywhere. Easy to communicate with hosts - very friendly.

Honeymoon in Venice

The property is wonderful. Close to many shops and restaurants. 5 minutes walk from San Marcos square. The host are most wonderful. The view is amazing. Staying here you will not be disappointed. Totally worth it.

Nice Apartment

The apartment was in a great location! It had everything we needed. The bedding was comfortable and we slept great! There is not a couch or chairs on which to sit, except for a day bed, but we spent most of our time out exploring so that was not an issue for us. Coffee was available for us. The check in/out process was good. The property manager met us on site to collect the payment.

Nice place & host

The place was cute and comfortable and had everything I needed, and the host was easy to reach and waited to help me enter and answer questions. If you pack heavy luggage, be advised there is no easy way to get it to the location. All the streets are cobble stone with bridges to carry you luggage over.

Perfect apartment in fabulous quiet location

Spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. Fabulous location in a quiet side street but close to everything. Lots of lovely little bars, bakeries and restaurants within 2 mins walk and the water bus to the car parks anre only a 5 minute walk away. Once you are in the property it’s all accessible and on the ground floor but there are 3 steps to the apartment. Very well equipped with coffee pods, teabags etc. It’s actually larger than the pictures show and was perfect for the 3 of us.

Nice and quiet and out of the main craziness

All and all was great. The mattress was not a comfy one, it is a bit dark inside but that can’t be helped, could help to have more towels for bath and kitchen. Shower head wasn’t working but they fixed immediately! Bonus! We loved getting lost in Venice! Fun fun!

Nice place

Nice apartment, as advertised. AC unit started leaking large amounts of condensation onto the bed in the kitchen area, but thankfully we weren't using that bed. There was a sewage smell in the apartment most of the time, but no actual issues with plumbing. Not sure if this is just a common thing in Venice apartments. There were some discrepancies between the price on the listing vs what we paid when we arrived, but we were at least grateful that we could pay it all by card. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in a spacious, otherwise comfortable apartment that was removed from the busier areas.

nice place, service so-so

The apartment was very nice - quiet, clean, comfortable. Excellent location. Communication with the host was an issue for me for the following reasons: it turned out there was paperwork to fill out (contract and document verification) which I ended up doing last minute on my phone while traveling, even though I had asked the host to send me any instructions earlier and I would have much preferred to fill out this paperwork on my desktop from home. In addition, I made a mistake in booking and required an extra set of sheets -- which the host could not provide until the next day (we had 2 beds for 3 people). Despite frequent communication about documents and contract I received NO communication as to when to expect the linens to arrive -- which was an issue because the next day as I came out of the shower I found a stranger in the kitchen making up the bed. My kids were both sleeping in the bedroom -- they said no one rang the doorbell (probably they just didn't hear it). But the woman just let herself in to deliver the linens, even though my kids were sleeping and I was in the shower. Odd.

off the beaten path in Venice
