Excellent property for family and/or friends

We had a birthday celebration for a member of our family and this property was perfect. The property was great inside and outside. Plenty of space for dining or just gathering around. The pool was a great addition.

We enjoyed staying at Island Living. I give it an overall 5 star. I do have one recommendation, though. The king size bed mattress was way too hard. Perhaps, a 2" mattress topper could be put on it to make it more comfortable for sleeping. Otherwise, the place was immaculate, the ambiance was great, the pool was a perfect size and beautiful when it was lit up at night, the neighbors were friendly, the screened in lanai was amazing, and Vero Beach is a wonderful place to visit. The owner was very responsive to any of our questions that we had. Everything was in excellent working condition. We would definitely stay there again. It felt extremely safe in that neighborhood. Our medical alert service dog loved it and felt right at home at Island Living.

Great Family Home

We truly enjoyed our stay at Chuck's house. The indoor and outdoor spaces are even bigger than the pictures show. The bedrooms are very comfortable. The bathrooms are newly remodeled and clean. The common areas are very nicely decorated, spacious, and comfortable. Chuck is a great host and very communicative. We will rent again when we are in Vero Beach.

Wonderful stay in Vero Beach

Chuck's house was a great place for our family to stay over Christmas. It is a short walk to the beach. The house had lots of beach chairs, inflatable rafts, etc. The house is very spacious. The pool was great fun. In particular we were impressed with the fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen had a big pan that we used to cook a turkey, and lot of other equipment, pans, etc. Chuck was a wonderful communicator, and checked on us to make sure our stay was going well. This house is highly recommended!

Almost Perfect

This is a fantastic location with a beautifully remodeled home. Chuck, the host, is incredibly accommodating and lives diagonally across the street. He went above and beyond for my family. When my son arrived with an oversized horse trailer, Chuck rearranged his own vehicles and allowed us to park the trailer on his private property for the weekend. He is very available if you need him but doesn't intrude at all. The home is just a couple of blocks from the beach, though we opted to drive as carrying all our beach gear was a bit much for walking. My only complaint is the carpet in the bedrooms. While everything was in great order and mostly clean, the carpet really needs to be replaced due to stains, likely from it being a pet-friendly home. Despite this, I still give it 5 stars.

A wonderful, relaxing stay!

The property is beautifully decorated and very clean. It was cozy enough for the two of us (and our dog), while at the same time, spacious enough to entertain guests for dinner and pool side happy hour! The area is quiet and has beautiful sky views in the morning and evening. And it's just a short walk to the beach. We had a really great time and would love to come back to this property in the near future! Thank you to the home owner Charles, who was a wonderful host to us and very helpful!

Florida Christmas

We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay at Charles house. He was very friendly and most of all he is very accommodating! The house was a great size and we enjoyed all the amenities of home. It is stocked with all the necessities in kitchen ware and linens. We really enjoyed the central location to the shops and the beach. We had a fantastic time! Thank you Charles!

Thanks, Chuck, For Our Peaceful Xmas Getaway

After canceled flights on Xmas eve, we drove 20+ hours from NY to the property. Chuck was amazingly easy to connect with and communicate our change of plans. Since we would now be unable to get to the store for our Christmas catering, he got our preordered groceries for us. What a lifesaver! The home is spacious, great areas for dining and family time, nice art and furnishings, lovely yard and pool...and the location is prime. Vero beach town is the perfect dining, shopping, relaxing area to be--and Chuck's place is within walking distance of so much. Thanks for a great stay.

Beautiful house on the island part of Vero Beach, Florida

My family and I stayed in Chuck’s home for the week for my son’s wedding. It was the perfect house to relax and unwind. My sons and husband enjoyed the built in pool. My dog enjoyed the built in backyard hunting geckos. I enjoyed the fact that the house was well stocked and maintained (and I didn’t see a single snake all week!). Chuck is a great host and communication is great with him. I highly recommend staying at this property!

Location location location and so much more. Exquisitely appointed home with fabulous kitchen, huge sunroom, well maintained ( and heated) pool. Long Weekend

This property was perfect for the long weekend trip with my wife, child, and in-laws. Walking distance to the beach, boardwalk, many shops and a quite a few restaurants as well. Property was clean, pool was nice and warm (heated), with big kitchen and lots of windows to open when the weather is nice.

Fantastic Home/Beautiful Surroundings

This was the nicest location we have ever stayed in through a vrbo rental. Chuck was fantastic as a host. The neighborhood is amazing and the amenities were great. The back yard was a mini paradise and the home was spotless. We can't wait to go back!

Great Location - Awesome Property!

The house is only 1 - block from the ocean and in a really quite neighborhood. The pictures are accurate and the house is very clean the pool is very refreshing and clean. You can walk to restaurants, shopping and beach... Location, Location, Location The owner / Chuck is very friendly! Love this place!
