Paso Robles Villa Creek Cellars Hotels

"The hotel was very clean and very beautiful however I have issues with their breakfast room. I was there six months ago and the place was a mess and with very few people actually helping the clients. I was told that this was going to be resolved. We have come back six months later, and the issue has still not been resolved. Because they have one person working the Restaurant area we have had the bus our own table just so we had a table where we could eat breakfast there. Also, there are only four tables there they’re large enough to seat either two or four people, and also accommodate dishes and forks and glasses and coffee. The other tables there are all cocktails tables and you could barely fit 2 cups of coffee and a small little dish for a croissant or piece of toast. I feel that this room is just there and it’s not really being taken care of. Unfortunately there are no other restaurants in the hotel that we can go to for breakfast. For a Hilton hotel, this is totally unacceptable and I hope that it it will be resolved in the future. I hold very little hope in that happened because I was told that that was gonna happen six months ago and as of yesterday, it still hasn’t happened."

"Not a good representation of the rooms that ere pictured on Expedia site of WHERE we would be staying. Site shows multiple pics of the upper section with no mention of lower section that’s in need of some upgrades. To start: No bathroom door only a curtain. Fireplace didn’t work inside. Bed/Mattress was very firm. Uncomfortable night of sleep. AC would turn on weakly but there were no easy ways to control the temp nor any visual to see what temp the unit was set at. Screen door was very sticky and had edge coming away from frame. Shower head had very broad weak spray pattern resulting in a long slow shower to adequately wash down/rinse your hair. Sink was further away from edge of counter making it difficult for use with a shorter person. And while location was excellent, all the above (and a room that needs an upgrade/remodel in the worst way) led to a disappointing visit, especially at that price point. Sad to say, I’d have rather stayed elsewhere ☹️"

"Our group stayed here for a business trip. We found the home to be nicely located for our needs. It was private and remote. It can be quite dark at night so plan accordingly by leaving outdoor lights on if you're coming back after dark. We tried to grill one night but the outdoor bbq was not equipped with propane. It felt like the home hadn't been rented for a little while but otherwise we had everything we needed. "

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a glorious setting for a vacation rental! It was incredibly peaceful not enjoy nature and look at the vines. The home is very remote but we had no problem finding it. We were immediately greeted with a strong "wet dog" odor upon entering the unit but it dissipated after having the windows open for a day. The bed was very comfortable, plenty of pillows, towels were generously sized, shower had tons of hot water. The place was very dusty and felt like it had not been cleaned recently. I was surprised we were not invited to taste wine at Dunning Vineyards considering it was on property. Would highly recommend for folks looking for peace and quiet and not worried about fancy accommodations. Thank you!"
