This charming motel is a throwback to the days of cross-country road trips. It’s definitely a bit outdated, but in the best possible way. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the location is excellent—just a couple of blocks from the square. Add in the reasonable price, and all of these factors make this a place I’ll definitely return to the next time I’m in town.

This place made for a great stay for a family members wedding that was right around the corner. The price was right compared to some other hotels that were in the area especially during early June which seems to be peak vacation time in the wine country in that area. The staff was amazingly helpful and made our stay that much better !

We stayed one night at Melody Ranch and it was perfectly adapted to our situation. Small walking distance to downtown so we were able to treat ourself with great food without driving. The rooms and bathrooms are clean ( we rented 2 rooms), the beds comfortable, the managers very pleasant. We will book again next time we need a night in Paso Robles!

What a fun treat to discover the Melody Ranch Motel. Like a trip way, way back in time. Clean, updated rooms. Original, distinctive but very safe and clean bathroom. Parking right in front of your room. Check in was so surreal to actually sign a check in card with all the info needed... memorable indeed. Staff/owners were pleasant and accommodating. Don't be worried about the street noise from a busy street. Double paned windows prevented any sound from bothering us. We stayed in 5 hotels this trip, most of them 5 star hotels at 3x the price. Melody Ranch was by far the best. Thank you so much and hope to see you soon!
