“Breakfast was fantastic. Real coffee cups! Room was spacious and clean. A great value. Will definitely stay again when visiting the area.”

“We had a such a great time at the Salida Inn & Monarch Suites. The staff were very friendly & welcoming, in fact they went above & beyond to ensure we were satisfied with our stay. There's a free breakfast in the morning with a nice assortment of snacks & beverages. The property looks slightly rough on the outside, but the suite we enjoyed was one of the most spacious rooms I've experienced and was remodeled/updates. There's sufficient free parking and the hot tub in the rear was a highlight of……

“Unfortunately, the property isn’t very well maintained. Sheets were clean beds not all that comfortable. Bathroom clean except for toilet. Needed a good scrubbing. The owner has done nothing to update property since it was built. They do have a pool and 2 outside hot tubs. One was not working. They have a game room, pool table, ping pong table and exercise room. Restaurant was closed due to lack of help and TVs did not work. It’s in a beautiful location. I just say shame on the owner……

“WE enjoyed our Stay there. The AC worked. My wife did not like how the bathroom was arranged. the toilet and shower were in one room and the sink and mirror was in another room. I thought it was okay since I could shower while she brushed her teeth and vise versa. I didn't like the shower curtain. The room did have drawer so we did not have to live out of our suitcase. the GWRL was in a good place so we could sight see the Great Sand Dunes NP, or the Royal Gorge Bridge. Overall it was a good……

“They let us have a room for our cat, it very hard to find hotels that will let you have a cat in the room! They have a designated room for pets and the cat love it! She is a very picky cat! Our room was clean and had everything we need in it! The person at front desk was friendly and helpful! I would stay there again!”

“Eric was super helpful and we found this campground a delight! So close to Monarch and Salida, this was perfect for our snowboarding trip where we also wanted to enjoy town a bit too!”

“Absolute idyllic paradise! The house is decorated beautifully, we felt instantly at home. We spent a lot of time in the shared outdoor space, which has picnic tables, lawn chairs, a grill, and horse shoes. Sadly the skies were cloudy so we couldn’t see any stars, but on a clear night I can tell it would be spectacular!”
