- 'Wanna Get Away?' Leave those hassles and worries behind and come visit us in one of the most beautiful settings in the world. Overlooking the deer and elk populated Wet Mountain Valley framed by the Sangre De Cristo Mountain Range. Enjoy the pristine Rocky Mountains at their finest.
Sit in the porch swing where you can watch the sun go behind the longest contiguous 13,000 and 14,000 foot peaks in the world. Where the only sound you'll hear is the breeze whispering through the Ponderosa Pines, yet you're just minutes away from Canon City, home of the world famous Royal Gorge Bridge and the countries premiere section of white water adventures. Your cares will be forgotten as you experience world-class rock climbing in Red Canyon Park, fly fishing on the Upper Arkansas River, class II - IV+ white water rafting, or pursue the local antique and art galleries. Located on 27 private acres at 8000 feet between Canon City and Westcliffe.

A great Christmas present to ourselves

Perfect Getaway
John's cabin was exactly what we needed to getaway and enjoy time together. The property was clean and comfortable with all the amentites. The cabin was close to all of our places of interest (Canon City/Colorado Springs) but out of the hustle and bustle of the cities. We cannot wait to come back with the whole family!

We truly enjoyed our stay... and don't worry... the kitchen has EVERYTHING! The property could not be more relaxing, and we loved seeing the deer in the morning and evenings. John was/is amazing. Thank you is not enough, and we can't wait to get back!

Beautiful and peaceful getaway
This property was exactly what we were looking for to have a peaceful and relaxing vacation. The view of the Sangre de Cristo mountains from the front porch is perfect. We enjoyed having nightly fires and exploring the area. The location is great as a base for exploring the small towns in the area. Thank you for the great time.
