Accurate description of property and perfect for our party of 3+ 1 GSD :) Super cute!! The location is easy to find and just outside of the town proper so you feel like you're in the mountains!

Great spot for a getaway

Located just up the hill from downtown Manitou Springs and a short drive from Garden of the Gods, this spot was perfect for the quiet I needed to work on a personal project, as well as close enough for a few excursions. The cantina a few houses down is a must for anyone visiting; great staff and really good food. The cottage was easy to get to and had everything I needed, was clean and comfortable.

Everything was great-beds, location, price, near sites, amenities, etc. Would absolutely stay again. The fridge ice maker was the best I’ve ever seen. Decorated beautifully without excess. Saw deer several times a day in the front and in the back!

Good location in Manitou Springs

This compact property was very clean and has a great location. The air conditioning was a blessing, but the smallest bedroom, the one with the bunkbeds does not cool down like the rest of the rooms and stayed slightly uncomfortably warm, there was a fan in the closet of this room which helped. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and liked sitting in the rockers on the front porch and watching the neighborhood wildlife in the morning.

The cabin was fine for two of us, but could use some extra cleaning, bathroom hooks, reading lights in bedrooms. Kitchen area could be updated but living area was spacious. We liked the front porch and quiet neighborhood, along with Cantina restaurant down the block.

Very Comfortable but small. Can reach out and touch washer and Dryer from bed, Bathroom sink very very small. Needs a new Coffee maker and no Coffee. Beds very Comfortable, Very clean and Living room comfortable.

Overall nice private stay

Overall good experience and met our needs. Beds comfortable. Clean cabin. Nice quiet area and front porch. Bathroom is very small so bigger guests be mindful. The washer and dryer units are in the single bed room making it a bit tight. We didn’t actually use any of the kitchen appliances while there so can’t speak to that. But overall was a good experience.

We had a great visit to Manitou, this is a great spot to stay if you’re wanting something out of the busy tourist areas, but close enough to still get to some of those. We wanted a place that we felt comfortable leaving our dog in his crate for a few hours at a time while we went hiking, ate at restaurants and visited with friends…and this was perfect for that! The only notes I’ll make is that there is a bit of mold in the shower area, likely due to the lingering steam after a shower mixed with the cold air coming from the A/C vent right above the shower. Also, I’d probably recommend re-enforcing the barn door hardware with a header board because it seems to be potentially hazardous. We did have a black bear visit Tuesday night and roll the trash can down into the yard, thank goodness for the bear lock trash can! Glad we didn’t leave anything in the car :) Overall really happy with the experience, we just wanted a cozy place to land after a long day of activities! This was it! Would recommend and will likely be back.

It was everything we were looking for, quiet, clean, great location and had everything we needed. Loved sitting on the deck in the morning enjoying our coffee. Great trail system just a walk up the road. My son wants me to add he appreciated the xbox.

Visiting Manitou Springs

Bedrooms and bath are cramped. Mattress and pillows in bunk room need to be replaced. Nice picnic table outside unfortunately over run with weeds. Location was great for us because it was a short walk to our friends house.
