"First off, this property was in an ideal location for us, as my wife was born in Tuscany, about 10-15 minutes from her hometown. It was centrally located to Pisa, Lucca, Florence and not too far from the Cinque Terrae. The property itself was nice but the house left a little to be desired. The bedrooms were on the second and third floors, as were the bathrooms, so if you needed to use the bathroom, you had to walk up to your appropriate level. The kitchen was very small and could have been stocked better with utensils, etc. Also, the chairs there were not the most comfortable. The living room was even smaller and the TV was the size of a computer monitor. Would I rent here again? Maybe but I would first look at other places."

"Nina is a wonderful host. She is very friendly and happed us in a number of ways. The property is perfect for a relaxed get away with the option of day trips to cities or beaches near by. We would love to go back!The listed address wasn't quite right when we booked. The property is up a hill in the village of Aquilea, which made walking to it not an option for us. All other info was spot on."

"Die Unterkunft ist geräumig, schön eingerichtet. Der Pool ist riesig- echt toll. Ich empfehle zu grillen. Die Tipps vom Vermieter sind Gold wert. Im September ist es wichtig Autan dabeizuhaben, da es viele Moskitos hat. Lucca hat eine sehr schöne Innenstadt. Das Meer ist ca. 40 Minuten weg, wenn man keinen Liegestuhl mieten möchte. Pisa ist gut zu erreichen."

"A Perfect Getaway in the Hills Above Lucca – Highly Recommended for Families! We spent 9 wonderful days in this dream villa as two families, with a total of 9 guests. Our expectations were exceeded in every way. The combination of traditional Italian charm and modern comfort absolutely delighted all of us. The Property & Stunning Location Spectacular panoramic views from 300 metres above the Tuscan countryside. A wonderful infinity pool that seems to merge with the surrounding hills and provided the perfect, luxurious way for adults and children alike to cool off after our days exploring the nearby cities. The drive up is an adventure along a typically Italian winding road, but the incredible views and absolute peace and quiet at the top make it completely worthwhile. A perfect base for cultural day trips, with Lucca, Pisa and Florence all within easy reach. A beautifully maintained garden with olive trees and plenty of space for our large group. The Villa & Amenities Tastefully furnished in a rustic style, with beautiful historic wooden ceilings. An excellently equipped kitchen where we could easily cook for 9 people. Very comfortable sleeping arrangements: all bedrooms are equipped with modern air conditioning, which was perfect during the summer temperatures. Great amenities nearby, including several excellent supermarkets. A large and very well-stocked Esselunga supermarket is around 20 minutes away by car, ideal when shopping for a large group. Very clean bathrooms and comfortable beds where we all slept wonderfully. Service & Hospitality from Giovanni & Marco A warm welcome from both hosts, including a bottle of local wine for the adults. Marco gave us some excellent insider tips on the best places to park and family-friendly restaurants in Lucca and Florence. Both Giovanni and Marco were exceptionally helpful, always available and quick to assist us with anything we needed. In Conclusion A huge thank you to Giovanni and Marco from both our families for 9 unforgettable days and their exceptional hospitality! If you are looking for the true Italian Dolce Vita, this is definitely the place. We will definitely be back! Google - Aug - 2026"

Alles war sehr sauber, gemütlich und sehr gut ausgestattet.Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Gastgeberin: Sie war ausgesprochen freundlich, herzlich und jederzeit erreichbar. Bei Fragen oder Anliegen hat sie uns schnell weitergeholfen und uns mit vielen tollen Tipps für die Umgebung versorgt. Besonders aufmerksam fanden wir, dass sie uns sogar in einem Restaurant einen Tisch reserviert hat.Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr willkommen und sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt.
