Fantastic Property

My sister, son, and I stayed here while in town for my daughter’s boot camp graduation, and we had a wonderful time! The property is absolutely charming. Very clean, well-stocked, and had everything we needed for a comfortable two-night stay. We especially enjoyed unwinding in the hot tub each evening. The beds were a bit lower to the ground than expected, but it wasn’t a big deal for us. Overall, we’d definitely stay here again!

Wonderful weekend getaway!

We had the nicest stay in this beautifully restored cabin! The kids had the best time in the hot tub and separate game room, and it was so nice to be able to walk to the beach and drive a short distance into town. The house was super clean and tastefully designed and our host was very responsive and helpful! We highly recommend planning your next vacation here!

Fantastic Fall Getaway

We planned just a short stay in Cape May over the fall break and had a wonderful time at the "Modern Log Cabin". My girls loved the game room, hot tub, and overall house. The owner was very responsive and easy to work with throughout the booking process and during our stay. We would highly recommend.

As advertised and so clean!

This is the cleanest rental home I have stayed in! The home is exactly as described in the listing. My dogs loved the large fenced in yard and my cousin and I enjoyed the many amenities. (If you have a v small dog (10lbs and under) they may be able to slip under the gate.) Communication with the owners was great - very responsive and helpful.

My family and small dogs loved our stay at this location. Fenced in yard was great for our dogs. Nice outdoor patio. Inside was spacious and comfortable. House was perfect location close to cape may and wildwood. Each spot was a nice and scenic short drive away. Host was very responsive to any questions we had. Highly recommend this rental.

Quiet off-season vacation

Great house, very nicely renovated, in a good location not far from downtown Cape May. Hottub was a nice addition, we are a large family(body frame wise) and had to take turns using it but it was very relaxing. So glad it had a washer and dryer and game room for the kids, dogs loved the fenced in yard, it is next to the marsh so be warned a very cute possum likes to travel through the yard at night. Only things i can say that could have been more comfortable is more comfortable beds, a larger couch in the living room, and it has what we called the Egg toilet haha as a bigger guy it was a little uncomfortable to use. Other than that its a beautiful log cabin that while small has a ton of space and a great area outside. Would definitely stay here again because it was a good fit for all of us especially our 3 pups.

Mini Getaway

There is always a lot of us traveling in my family so it’s usually 6-10 people at a time. This time it was 6 plus the dog so this pick was perfect since it was totally fenced in and secure for our dog. Everything was brand new, the hot tub, the game room which is outside of the premises and is perfect to keep fun game noise where it needs to be. The upstairs bedroom has its own air conditioning unit so you don’t have to worry about discomfort. This spot was perfect on a nice street and only 13 mins from Cape May Beach and 15 mins from Wildwood so we did both! We had a great time, so glad we found this property.

Family vacation

It was a last minute thing. It was the first option that came up. The updated cabin was perfect convincing to get my husband to agree. LOL Everything was great. It was clean and updated. The kids had a great time and enjoyed the hot tub. It was close enough to the beach but far enough to not be overwhelmed by the hustle and bustle. The check in and out was super easy. Any communication was quickly answered. We will definitely stay again. Thank you very much for helping us unwind with a stress free vacation.

We arrived in this beautiful redone home for a few days to get away and enjoy the 4th of july at the beach. Everything was wonderful, the grounds were well kept, and the game room was a plus for our children. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this home.

Everything was great. The host was very understanding when our dog got skunked. There were plenty of fresh linens. The yard was perfect for our dog. We had perfect weather. The location was in walking distance of the bay. Wildwood beach was approx 20 minutes from the house Cape May was approx 30-45 minutes. Everything was very clean and comfortable.

We came to celebrate my daughter‘s 29th birthday just to get away and relax. We enjoyed the property. The hot tub was amazing and the location was great because it was close to everything we wanted to do! The cabin was cute, comfortable and exactly the way it was explained in the write up. I would definitely recommend this property. we also made it to the Cape May County zoo to see the baby zebra.

Great cabin and yard for family

Had a nice time at this renovated cabin, perfect for a small family and yard with dogs. beware if you have small dogs they might be able to get out of fence. Back game room is a bonus, streaming services logged into tv. Overall good time, just had issues booking and a few other things because owner uses a third party which doesnt operate well, but property is great.

The house was quaint and nice. Very clean. Communication was quick and concise. The only areas of improvement I would strongly recommend would be to improve the quality of the mattresses and couch. None of them were quite comfy. I understand not wanting to put a lot of money into something that multiple people are going to be using and potentially mistreating. But as a fellow business owner, I believe improving the quality of the mattresses and couch (higher back/neck support) will truly set your property apart and take it to a 10/10. We adored this home. It had everything we needed for a 5 night stay. It was conveniently located 15 to 20 minutes to the beaches both Wildwood and Cape May, and also the zoo. It felt like we were in a remote quiet area but minutes away we could find anything we needed from gas stations to wawa to local produce, wineries, breweries, shopping centers and eateries. There is a great ice cream shop at the end of the main road and at the other end the beautiful bay and bittner beach. The house sits along side the nature preserve and i looked up in a tree about 4 blocks away to see an eagle in a tall tree. It was there all day in eagles cove . Almost every street is a dead end so you aren't getting lots traffic... just local travelers. We ride our bikes several times ald doesn't find any traffic to worry about. If you like modern clean design yet a cozy wood log cabin feel, this is your place. It's IKEA meets Goldilocks. The whole family had a great time from 3 years old to 61 and our dog. He loved the yard. Something for everyone here.

Memorial Weekend Get-Away

Great communication with owner. Provided clear check-in/check out details. He answered my questions quickly and offered restaurant suggestions. The cabin is super cute! 3 rooms with two smaller rooms on the ground floor and a larger room upstairs. Clothes rack in one of the smaller rooms, no closets in the rooms. Great sized bathroom & laundry. Upstairs can get really warm but there is a portable AC & fan to help with that. Sofa transitioned into full sized bed. The refrigerator and freezer are small but worked for us since we were only there for 4 days. The games in the shed were awesome to play. We used the small portable grill and the fire pit. Both were fine. Bring your own charcoal and firewood. We bought Duraflame logs at WalMart which was nearby. My dog had fun running around the yard. The yard is gated and can be viewed from the street. Cape May beach is 15-20 minutes drive. You can buy a day pass or longer to access the beach. Metered parking near the beach. Beautiful wildlife area within walking distance of the property. We would definitely stay again!
