We stayed at this hotel for the eclipse. The only good things I can really say are that 1) the desk clerk was very friendly and she really tried to help us with our various room issues, and 2) our confirmed room rate was honored, as we booked a year in advance and prices had been jacked up to $300/night for the eclipse (though we did receive phone calls last fall telling us they didn't intend to honor our confirmed rate). The room we were given wasn't worth $50/night. Rooms keys kept failing, bathroom door wouldn't close completely and scraped the floor hard when opening/closing, no remote control for the TV, a non-working refrigerator, and lights that randomly came on by themselves. We ended up cutting our stay short and left a day early.

This hotel has always been very pleasant. The employees are very kind. It is convenient to our visits. The down size is there was no maid service unless we asked.

Disappointing
the back outside door was never secured (locked). The shower sprayed all over. Breakfast was minimal, coffee was watery. However, the staff were very friendly.

Economical stay
My room was clean and comfortable. The main corridors smelled musty, like is almost always the case at budget hotels. For the price paid per night, it wasn't bad.

Service was great. Room was pretty clean. Bed comfortable. Have never seen a hotel with so many fixtures (smoke detector, door locks etc) missing. In recent times i have not seen many hotels with a microwave, coffee pot but no bliw dryer.

For a single night, it was fine. Very clean but a musty odor in room. We aired it by opening a window. For just a place to sleep, can’t beat the price. I would not stay longer as location not great.

There was a very strange and concerning person hanging out at the front desk during my check in, asking me personal questions, staring at me and acting in an almost criminal manner. The front desk person seemed to know him. It was VERY unsettling. I later learned this person was a guest of the motel and someone with a serious drug problem. Room service did NOT service my room during my stay. On my last night there, the guest in the room left the TV blaring almost the entire night - until at least 3am. This is the first and LAST time I will stay in a cheap hotel. I was travelling alone and thought I could save a few dollars. I regret that now. Finally, the breakfast was not in any sense worth eating. The coffee was not great but appreciated.

Advertised that they had a pool....but not working. Room was so dirty. I wanted to leave but my husband said we would stay sinve we were checked in. I didnt walk anywhere in the room without my shoes on. Room smelled and carpet in wall was even worse!!!! I would take this motel off your list !!!

Find a different place!
The only reason I give this a 1 is because the bed was fairly comfortable. Hard to say when the hall, stairs and room had been vacuumed. Was just dirty. The chair in our room needed to go to the dump. Cigarette holes in the bedspread. Will never be a place we recommend.

The room looks clean, but there is a broken lamp and 2 broken lamp shades. Overall the room is kind of dark. You can hear noises from the hall too. Hopefully that gets better as the night goes on. This is a fair property at best. Don’t expect more than that.

I was given a room which already had a couple in it who were surprised and NOT happy when I opened the room door. Carpet in hallway was dirty. No elevator so I had to drag bags up and down stairs. They refunded my money and I left.

Room 212 the tv cable was broken. They sent us to room 211. The inside bathroom door plywood cover was loose. Have to fix it. They did not take of care the broken. At 8:20 we walked in and the service on the counter didn't say hi and welcome. At 8:35 my daughter walked to the swimming pool and he told her the pool is closed. It was only 25 minutes to close. She was very unhappy. I don't really appreciate it. For breakfast, the muffins and donuts were out. They didn't buy it for the next day. I can't believe what was happening.

First arrived to room 205 TV didn't work. Got moved to next room, door Won't latch from outside!! No fire alarm,just wires hanging from ceiling! Toilet seat falling off, bathroom door knob is broken. This place is unsafe unsanitary, frankly needs to be knocked down!

I can share pictures. Wires hanging from cieling where smoke alarm should be. Bathroom door busted and didn't work. Gross stains on carpet and bed skirts. Really folks, this was filthy. Ripped bedsheets in multiple spots. Pool was closed and this was a required criteria for our daughter. Ice machine didn't work. Breakfast was only some small Walmart muffins and waffle batter & iron. The place was so dirty, we opted to go elsewhere for breakfast. In my almost 60 years, this one is about the worst of all time. Will not return.

After making reservations on Wednesday, when we arrived on Sasturday, we were told that they were overbooked so they transferred us to an other motel about 3 miles north, which was an utter disaster.

Clean and comfortable. The back door lock was out of service and entry could be accessed by anyone. Dirty towels were placed outside a door by a visitor and laid in that spot for a couple of days. Probably because it was a holiday weekend or our stay wasn't long enough, no cleaning and subsequently ran out of coffee pods after day 2. A bit of a "party" spot in the gazebo at the back of the building late Sunday night. Not a lot of options in town so I will likely return next year.

A let down stay
I had booked the hotel because of showing there was an indoor pool. When we arrived, there was a sign saying the pool was closed. We were given our room, and when we got to our room, it was still being cleaned. The room was so-so, has a refrigerator and two microwaves.
