“The house was clean and very cozy. Tight quarters in the bedrooms for suitcases but we made it work. Kitchen stocked well, but we did have to call for trash bags and dishwasher detergent. We had a short visit but there were none available at all. They did deliver promptly when called. Only other complaint was we arrived about 30 minutes early after a long drive from Louisiana. “We loved this stay in this historical and eccentric home. The host was especially kind and communicative. Drinking coffee on a whimsical porch with my 2 best friends was the absolute highlight of this trip. We will definitely be back.”

“We loved everything about our stay at Kingfisher Cottage. Dayna and Joe have thought of and anticipated every possible need a guest might have while staying in this space. My only regret is that we did not have as much time to spend at the cottage as I would have liked. I hope I have reason to return to Sylacauga in the future so that we can stay here again!”

“The pictures listed must be at least 5 to 7 years old and not accurate for the current state of the house. There has been water damage since the photos were taken and not all of that has been repaired. Oddly enough, the house did not smell musty or moldy but the laminate flooring had clear water damage and were curling up in most of the house. Air vents were rusty, and a couple had signs of mold.
