Authentic, spacious holiday villa with great surroundings. Private pool where you can relax and enjoy. The villa is quite remote. There is no WIFI in the house or near the pool. We had a good holiday week here and can recommend this house to anyone who likes a remote, peacefull place to relax and rest.

De boerderij is mooi en heel erg schoon, midden in het bos. Mooie uitvalsbasis voor uitstapjes naar bijv Nimes, Montpellier en het strand. Er is een grote hal met pingpong tafel, verder een heerlijk groot zoutwater zwembad met lig- en lounge stoelen. Keurig schoon en goed onderhouden! Het huis is niet geschikt voor minder mobiele mensen: veel lastige trappen en lage deurposten (hoofd vaak gestoten…)De drie badkamers waarover gesproken werd is niet correct: alleen als er meer dan 6 personen boeken wordt de 4e slaapkamer en derde badkamer beschikbaar gesteld, helaas. De slaapkamers zijn boven zijn op zich in orde, de bedden wel erg hard en er is geen airco; behoorlijk warm dus. De wifi werkte in eerste instantie niet, we moesten dit een paar keer aangeven alvorens de router uit het huis van de conciërge in de vensterbank gezet werd en er een extra kastje werd geplaatst. De wifi heeft het een ruime week gedaan, toen was het weer niks. De conciërge woont vlak naast het huis, hij spreekt Engels wat handig is. Je komt hem dagelijks (soms meerdere keren) tegen, hij geeft een paar keer per week klei-lessen aan een groepje kinderen. Verder is het huisje voorzien van voldoende servies en pannen, er is een wasmachine maar de droger is kapot, gelukkig hadden we veel zon zodat we de handdoeken konden wassen en drogen (er is maar 1 badhanddoek aanwezig per persoon voor het gehele verblijf). Je moet je eigen vuilniszakken wegbrengen met de auto, ongeveer 10 minuten rijden. De dichtstbijzijnde supermarkt is in Laroque (mooie route!) een half uur rijden. Al met al een mooie locatie met hier en daar wel wat verbeterpunten.

Op de brochure zag het huis, verbouwde boerderij, er prima uit in werkelijkheid was het geweldig en uitermate smaakvol en goed verzorgd. Alles was aanwezig, genoeg servies en genoeg bestek en linnengoed. We hebben altijd allerlei reserves bij ons maar dat was niet nodig. Het bijzondere was dat je in de totale stilte kon genieten, lezen en zwemmen en dat je in een kleine 10 minuten in een typisch Frans dorpje met dikke platanen en een fontein je kopje koffie kon drinken en je, Nederlandse, krant kon lezen. Vriendelijke mensen, heel behulpzaam. De tweede helft van de week was er altijd wel ergens een gezellige markt en Montepellier was ook maar een half uur rijden. Een aangename , ruim opgezette stad, vriendelijk en genoeg cultuur. Kortom we hebben genoten.Al met al
