Quick weekend getaway....

Had family fly-in to surprise my wife for her birthday. The house worked out perfectly. The place was spotless and looked pretty much brand-new. Staying here was a great idea, extremely pleased. Hailee of Sandbridge Blue texted me everyday just to make sure we were happy. Access to the beach is right across from the property which made it very convenient.

Nice house, BUT this house needs a DEEP CLEANING before renting it to anyone.

Entered upon arrival 1st flr front door, and inside the door there was bugs, sand and dirt. In downstairs bathroom there was something was on the toilet. I saw that some paint was missing, so I took a wet towel and whatever some of it was came off, so that toilet was not clean. When I went upstairs to bedroom, the bed was not made, and there were dirty towels on the floor. I called and left a message at the rental office for someone to call me. I sent an email to the office regarding the problems with the house at 2:32pm on Saturday. Upon arrival, there were 7 dirty trash and recycling cans at the curb, some on their sides and they were gross. We took them around back ourselves. There was also a bunch of cigarette butts and litter in the circle of the driveway. Upon arrival, here were more issues we found. • 3rd FL Master BR in front broken shower door and it does not shut • 3rd FL Front sliding door screen kept falling out • 1st FL Bathroom: dirty towel and toilet seat • Cabana house by the pool was disgusting, refrigerator was gross, floors, walls doors all looked like they had never been cleaned. It looked like drinks had exploded in there on the walls. Bugs everywhere and TV would not work because cable box was missing & no batteries in the remote. We could not use it. Outdoor shower was dirty, the shower curtain is on a rod that just sits on a ledge. Kristy cleaned it, but the wind would blow the curtain down when you were showering, so we did not use that after the first time. • The table on the deck by the hot tub was really dirty with food or drinks spills, sticky and bugs on it. • No safe way to get into the hot tub. No steps available, so we had to stand on a chair which was not safe. • Stains and mold on curtains • All windows and doors need cleaning inside & out • Both gas grills so dirty we could not use them • Ovens so dirty that when we would use them it would smoke up the house on 3rd floor • 1st FL TV by bar no batteries in remotes • Urine stains on pillows The manager was not helpful when I reached out after our stay. He offered $200 compensation. This was unacceptable. I wish I could post the photos!
