Beautiful area, we went off season, middle of March and it was excellent. I could see it would be super crowded in the summer. The other thing is all restaurants in VA beach boardwalk area automatically charge you 18% gratuity so be aware. Very shady

The great thing about VB to me is that it's bike friendly. The boardwalk has a wonderful bike path all the way from one end to the other. You can spend the day just riding back and forth people watching and enjoying the ocean breeze and eating foods

Have been visiting Va Beach since 1960s. Much has changed. The actual beach areas are still nice. The ocean breezes were amazing. The restaurants are still really strong in the greater VB area. Will return to VB but will upgrade to better hotel.

Fighter jets will fly around all day everyday if weather permits. It was cool to see, but they start at 7am and don't stop until night, very loud. Good golfing around town, excellent food options, plenty to do. Aquarium was neat! Lot of walking!

I have never been there before and I really enjoyed myself. the beach was very pretty and clean,the pier and the restaurant on the pier was very cool.It was just really fun Lunasea was very beautiful and good drinks. Harpoon Larrys A+must visit

We loved the multi-cultural vibe of that area.The beach was great.The ocean was sort of flat but fun and refreshing.The birds, dolphins, pelicans were fun to watch.The almost constant roar of the F-18s started getting to us by the third day.

My favorite beach location I've been to in years. I am presently having to push a rollerator walker because of a back injury, it is very disability friendly here. The concrete sidewalks and crosswalks make it very easy to roll for disabled!

Loved rudee inlet rudee rocket so fun, dolphins at sunset right on the beach front. Beautiful sand. Felt like a few places overcharged us one ice cream shop and and sweet spot candy store. Charged us 15.96 per lb of candy instead of 3.99.
"Rooms have been recently updated so that was nice. The facility seems to be well kept. Only issue was the refrigerator, didn’t work but we didn’t use it much either."
