Nice large house right in the beach

Property is in a great location. Ocean views and having the beach so close was nice. The kitchen is fully stocked they even have a crockpot, which wasn't in the listing but helped us feed a group of 17. The only thing missing was the ball for the foosball game.

Perfect location and beautiful house.

I booked the property to host a yoga retreat for 12 other women. The location was absolutely perfect. The property itself had a great layout for or needs-- including plenty of parking. We couldn't have asked for anything more. We'll certainly be back again!

Perfect for family retreat

Our group consisted of 6 family units for our annual vacation and this place was the best we’ve booked to date. The floor plan was perfect to keep younger children sleeping quietly while the adults enjoyed each other’s company on the deck and around the kitchen tables playing cards and games into the evening. The pool was wonderful, and beachfront location was perfect. We plan to return to this or a similar property in future years!

This home was so beautiful inside. Very well stocked. Great view of the ocean. Enough comfortable bedrooms for families. We loved this home. The staff was amazing. We got to speak with someone who cares for the property she was there completely an inspection before we arrived. She apologized for being there but we didn't mind we were early. She was a very funny lovely young lady. She joked with us, made us feel comfortable & gave us some advice on everything we asked. We were so happy with everything during our stay.

“The Ocean Was Angry That Day”

Hurricane/Tropical Storm Debbie put a damper on our vacation. Despite the weather the house was a perfect spot to view the ocean being angry. Half the week was great the other half was filled with watching the Olympics and playing board games. The house was great and you can’t beat the location. Even with the ocean mad we still could enjoy the pool. There truly is nothing better than listening to waves crashing and we certainly had our share! We had 5 families and twenty people and it was perfect. I would highly recommend Neptune II.

My family and I really enjoyed the house tremendously. Bedrooms was spacious, bathrooms clean along with the kitchen and dining room area. Family enjoyed the pool. A little more mantianance to improve it a little more will go a long way. P.s. the sofa had a rip in it. But that didn't deter us one bit..

Positively beautiful view, excellent location, layout great. Bathrooms and Kitchen were clean and well maintained. Some suggestions: put a handrail at pool steps, vents,especially on wall in living room were filthy. Outside windows covered with bugs. Beach chairs and umbrella were all broken. For some reason hot water came out of both faucets in both masters. Minor changes would really enhance one’s stay but otherwise an enjoyable week.

It’s serviceable

You can’t beat beach front, and the house has a good amount of bedrooms and bathrooms. Overall though it’s pretty rundown and tired. There’s a reason it costs less than comparable properties. It’s not bad enough that we wouldn’t book it again, but certainly not at a higher price. The house won’t ruin your vacation, it just isn’t at the level you’d expect. Be prepared to make do, but again… beach front!! Tip: we ran our own hose around the side of the house to wash off sand from beach feet… otherwise you are tracking directly into downstairs living room. Also brought our own umbrella to attach to pool chair.

Nice beachfront house

We stayed at Neptune II in late March to celebrate my mom’s birthday, and it was a memorable experience. The best part? The house is right on the beach! We loved being able to step directly onto the sand, enjoy the ocean views from the house, and relax on the deck while listening to the waves.The house is spacious, with nine bedrooms spread over three floors. Most rooms have their own bathrooms, which was super convenient for our group. The kitchen and main living area are on the third floor, so be prepared for some stair climbing.When we arrived, we noticed the house wasn’t as clean as we had hoped—there was some dust, hair, and a few dead bugs. We contacted the property manager with photos, and they promptly sent a cleaner the next morning. After that, the place felt much better. It would have been nice if it had been spotless from the start, though.Overall, Neptune II is a great spot for large groups. The house has a bit of a dated feel, but it’s still comfortable and well-equipped. Despite the initial hiccup with cleanliness, we’d consider renting it again for its fantastic location and ample space.

Beautiful new couch! Could use a hose or shower going back and forth from the beach. Pool was clean and refreshing, used frequently by the younger kids. More cutting boards in the kitchen would help. Also a few plastic cups and less stemware. During a very strong storm we lost power and wi-fi. Power came back quickly wi-fi did not. Also during the heavy rain the window frames in the great room leaked. We used some towels but could use caulking. Overall a very good house for 10 adults and 7 kids ages 3-11. We tried to rent for next year but the dates we needed were not available.
