Penthouse #1603 is a fully-furnished and finely-decorated 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom unit with breathtaking views (1 full size bunk bed/2 Kings). The penthouse has a beautifully updated kitchen with granite counters and stainless steel appliances, gas fireplace, and balcony. We provide 1 towel/guest, and there is an in-suite washer/dryer. The expansive living room has multiple TV's and high-speed internet access. There are two king sized beds, and one bunk bed. This special resort rental accommodates a group of 6 maximum. Pets are not allowed.

Check-In is after 4:00 p.m.

The pros: the beds are comfy. The location is great for walking to the beach and local restaurants. From a distance, the place photographs well enough for social media posts, if your into that. There are some dishes, silverware, and wine glasses. There are some pots and pans too but no spatulas or other cooking utensilsThe cons: We spent 2K for two nights and it felt like trying to live in a rundown model home in an aging, water damaged property. The only toiletries provided were watered down soap and toilet paper. And when my friend opened the one single roll in the house to replace the empty one in her bathroom, it has molded from water exposure.The seat cushions on the chairs had stains, the slip cover over the couch was dirty. There is a stacked washer dryer, bring your own soap, softener, and basket. We found cleaning up in the kitchen difficult without any paper towels or cleaners. If you have large bags or any difficulty with stairs, don't t stay here. We were only able to get the elevator to go to the 16th for with the code once. The rest of the time we had to go to the 15th floor and walk up the dark, dirty, creepy stairs. The fobs do nothing and the codes for the doors/elevators worked maybe 10% of the time stayed. The elevator in the parking garage stopped working which made parking on the 3rd tier and walking up and down with bags difficult.

This has been the worse experience I have ever had with a Vrbo rental! When I travel, I typically stay with Vrbo as I have had many great experiences and they have provided enough space for groups of all sizes. On the first day of arriving, the elevator to get up to the Penthouse was not working (there is only one elevator that takes you directly to this floor). We reached out to the office and was told that maintenance would be working on the issue. The entire 4 days we were there, the elevator was not working and saw no one working on it at all. Upon settling in to the PH, it was found that 2 of the 3 TVs did don’t work, nor were there any remotes. The ceiling fan / light in the 2nd bedroom did not work. There were no wash clothes provided. No additional toilet paper or paper towel, ran out by the beginning of the 2nd day due to the low amount that was left. Many outlets were not functioning. Multiple cracks and dents in the ceiling, walls and floors. The toilet in the half bathroom did not flush. And LASTLY, when we returned to our room after a night out, there was NO running water in the rooms at all. So we could not shower, wash our hands or anything else until the following day. Called the emergency number multiple times and no one answered. On the plus side, the beds were comfortable. Overall this place needs some work and management who is readily available when issues occur.

**DO NOT BOOK** DO NOT BOOK** DO NOT BOOK**They will tell you they cleaned and had two people in there cleaning - but as soon as we stepped foot inside, you could hear the dirt under your shoes. There was melted candy on the bathroom floor, the AC unit is broken and they will tell you they have units inside the place to use, but they don't have parts to put them in the windows AND have there are notes on the windows that state "do not open window" so how are those units supposed to work? The bathroom faucets are REALLY loose, the toilet paper holders are broken and the toilet paper falls to the floor. There was hair ALLLLL over. There is a LOUD howling every time the wind blows. The code to get up to the top floor did not work - and get up to the top floor you have to push the down arrow on the elevator - but the only way you'd know that is if someone there tells you. We couldn't get the elevator to actually go up to the top floor, so we had to get off on the floor below, and carry our stuff up a flight of stairs. Let's not talk about how gross the stairwell was. DO NOT BOOK!

Day 1 Saturday 4/12/25 we tried to enter property no access then we were let in I believe by resident. Then next problem not knowing key pad to penthouse not working thinking somehow we didn’t get instructions right then texting for help two time finding out to use stairs from 15 floor to get to unit for pass for parking and fobs. That was just the beginning no Heat calling on call maintenance to get no answer finding thermostat off wall and wondering why portable AC units were in windows making it colder in home . We have pictures to support problems . Finding out person who told us how to get up to unit was supervisor of maintenance. We went to office on Sunday a Mr Steve got us along with Mike two space heater one didn’t work so had to request another and ask for supervisor.Then he walked with us to make sure all amenities could be entered because that night arrived dog stuff at elevators when walked out we tried at 630 pm to checkout things fobs didn’t work, but we checked with him all good , later a brand new space heater was bought to us, I was messaged it was at front door though messaging.Next making breakfast to find out kitchen sink was clogged very slow draining, went to office again on Monday morning and was told to message our complaint or virbo system . It is now 1:08pm seen no one will to go get drain cleaner ourselves but know it should be done not by us . The reason we are saying this because much more we feel is not appropriate for us as customers.

I travel quite extensively for work and my daughter's cheer. Our experience at the Mayflower was beyond disappointing. We were given a small check-in window. Despite being provided with a code, we were unable to access the elevator to our floor and had to carry everything up the stairs. The provided FOBs also did not work in the elevator.Upon entering the apartment, we were met with a frigid temperature and non-functional lights. The condition of the apartment was dismal, with the toilet roll holder falling off and the HVAC units failing to provide any heat. The floor is squishy around the 2nd HVAC unit. This is also where the 3 bedroom doors meetup to hear the continous squeeling and boisterous hammering noise of the compressor. Despite reaching out to the manager, the issues were never resolved, leading us to have to pay out of pocket for accommodations elsewhere. The overall appearance of the apartment did not match the enticing photos online, as we found hairs on the couch, a dire lack of kitchen essentials (one cup), and lipstick stained shot glasses. The host promised some credit for the "unused portion" of our stay. Unfortunately they stopped communicating and have been unsponsive to us now.

I typically don’t like to give bad reviews but this penthouse is not worth all the hype on here.CONSOnly 1 TV out of 3 work Broken light switches90% of the outlets don’t work Not all the fans work The lock to the main door when entering the penthouse and the door leading out to the balcony need some major TLC. There are cracks in the ceiling and different parts of the wall. The other tenants smoke weed and walking through the halls/stairwells is like walking through a hotbox I reached out to the property manager to let them know that the code to the penthouse from the elevator wasn’t working the night we arrived and didn’t hear back from then until 11 hours later and the problem still wasn’t fixed. The only plus side is the beds are comfortable I can honestly say my family and I won’t be staying here again

Penthouse is run down and clearly used as rental. Upon arrival the kitchen sink was clogged, none of the three TVs worked, The 3 lights over the kitchen island all had burnt out light bulbs. There was VERY limited supplies in kitchen. We could only access the pool the first two days of our seven day stay! Oh and the elevator broke and we were on the 16th floor with a guest who had mobility issues. SAVE YOUR MONEY for a nice place. If you are just going to be on the beach for drinking, probably ok (there are at least a dozen shot glasses in the kitchen! though no can opener...

The only reason I gave 1 star is because the people who work at the Mayflower are great. The unit was dirty, heat didn’t work half the time, so many cockroaches. Water would shut off time to time, elevator didn’t always work. Black ooze dripping in the stair wells when you did have to use the stairs. I had to clean the whole place when I got there because it was so dirty. Linens were dirty too and there were dirty clothes in the hampers. I’ve never stayed anywhere this gross in my entire life!
