    The Space:

    Adventure awaits you at this light-filled Big Island vacation home in an unbeatable east coast location on the edge of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Hike around the active volcano of Kīlauea during the day, and spend your evenings relaxing on the lanai, grilling your favorite Hawaiian family dinners, and sharing stories of your adventures around the gas-powered fireplace!



    This home is located in Volcano Village, just a few minutes from great restaurants like 'Ōhelo Cafe and The Rim. You'll be only three miles east of the Kīlauea Visitor Center and adjacent to the northern boundaries of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The Akatsuka Orchid Gardens are five miles east, the Volcano Winery is six miles west, and a unique golfing adventure awaits you at the Volcano Golf and Country Club, where you can tee off at one of the world's most active volcanoes, five miles west.

This is a fabulous, extremely well stocked private home within 15 minutes of volcano national park. The home was just as described in the listening with large bedrooms, a gorgeous open central floor plan and everything you need in the kitchen. Beautifully kept home in cool Volcano Village area. Wish there was more variety of eateries (many Thai restaurants) but the neighborhood was quite and charming. The house had everything we needed and more.

Our Volcano home, Hale Pau’ole, was charming and beautiful, I loved sitting on the lanai in the mornings, having a cup of java, and taking in the peaceful surroundings. The hale was fully decked out with amenities - we felt like we were at home.

Beautiful house in a fabulous location

This was a wonderful place to be. No complaints, although for a relatively long-term rental (three weeks), there was no trash pick-up which seemed a bit odd. But other than that, it was heaven.
