Just across from the rail station where we arrived from Oslo and the starting point of our Norway in a nutshell tour, so perfect location for us. Also enough restaurant options across the road and along the main bit of the town including gift shops. Staff are welcoming and pleasant. Room was lovely and spacious with the most gorgeous view of the lake and enjoyed sitting on the balcony. The bathroom was looking a little tired and could do with modernising i.e grouting looking a bit grey/black in places, but everywhere was clean. Nice buffet breakfast with good selection of options.

Bathroom is dangerous, floor is slippery due to showers area isn’t sealed. the bathroom door has an elevated bar that people can easily got tripped on, and that is what happened to us.

At check in, the room I was given had not been cleaned. Went back to the desk and got a different room. Elevator didn't work properly for the third floor. Only for 2 and 4. Very average rooms. Stay only if you have no other choices.

Good for accommodation but, not for breakfast.

I liked my stay here. The hotel is a bit dated but, it serves it purpose. The biggest downside was the breakfast. It's a big selection but, it looked like it got re-served day after day. I took a fried egg on day three or four and it was like it was made of plastic. The pot with bacon just got more small bits of crunchy bacon at the bottom for every day that only got darker and darker.

With a top of the line room we had great views of the lake and mountains. The room was large but no amenities. No in room coffee or tea. No safe. No shampoo/ conditioner. No wash clothes. Also no laundry service but the staff did take our laundry to another town and washed and dried it which was over and beyond what they had knowledge of.

Disgusting bathroom

Very disgusting dirty bathrooms. The curtain bar is secured with just tension mounts and fell down on top of me while showering. Also found 5 long pieces of hair stuck to the walls of the standing tub (refer to pictures). Informed front desk night staff and they didn't address issues at all. I told the manager while checking out and they also did not address issues.

Park Hotel has a lot of rooms, a great location on the lake with lovely views, and free parking. It’s almost like a step back into the sixties/seventies…the carpet, walls, light fixtures, and furniture are all very dated and over used. Only the disco ball was missing. Breakfast was okay to good, although crowded as it seems like a lot of bus tours roll through here. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The tub was old and somewhat permanently stained. There was no place to put your opened suitcase, although the room did have a closet space with shelves and two extra pillows. It was generally quiet at the hotel except for Friday night karaoke at the bar/restaurant next door…able to nearly exclude the bad music by closing the windows but then it got a bit stuffy and warm in the room. Okay hotel but over priced.

+ Zimmer mit Blick auf den See, kostenfreie Parkplätze. - Das Gebäude und die Zimmer könnten eine Renovierung vertragen. Es fehlten die Handtücher auf dem Zimmer; ein Haartrockner war ebenso nicht vorhanden, obwohl er in der Beschreibung angeführt war. Der Lüfter im Bad wirbelte Staubflocken auf das Waschbecken. - Am Abend fand draußen unterhalb der Zimmer eine Veranstaltung des Hotels statt; auch nach 22 h war es noch ziemlich laut. - Das Frühstück war ok, aber im Vergleich mit anderen Hotels in Norwegen unter dem Durchschnitt. Insgesamt ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hier nicht angemessen.

Das ist das schlechteste Hotel in dem ich in den letzten 15 Jahren übernachtet habe. Schmutzig, laut weil Musik aus der Bar und sehr hellhörig. Keine Steckdosen im Bad, kein Fernseher der funktioniert weil kein oder schwaches Signsl- konnte niemand beheben

Litt for varmt på rommet.

Fint og rolig hotell, selv om det var fullt. Da vi ankom var det 29 grader på rommet, ikke mulig å endre det på noen måte utenom å ha vinduene på vidt gap med masse måseskrik. Ellers var det god service og nydelig frokost 😍

Stort rom og stort bad. Var et par lyspærer som ikke funka. Litt spindelvev på lampa i taka og i hjørner. Litt dårlig trykk i dusjen og føneren manglet slange (type gammel føner - 80-tallet? - fikk iallefall ikke brukt den) God frokost og blide og trivelig betjening.
