We loved it and will return. Maggie was a great host. The couch was nice and comfortable for watching movies. The master bed was very comfortable. Decorative accents were set up for Valentine’s Day.

Girls trip to Magnolia

We loved this property - the house was beautifully decorated, clean, and had everything you would need. It was also close to everything. The property manager emailed several times just to make sure we were comfortable and happy with the home. It was just perfect from start to finish. We had a fabulous stay.

Love this place!!
Cozy cottage is the perfect name for this place!! Beds are comfortable and space is plentiful! Kitchen had everything we needed for our meals. Host communicates wonderfully and I’m confident if we needed anything she would take care of our request. Not necessary because the house had everything we needed.

Quaint Stay
We had an enjoyable weekend staying in this property. Cottage itself was quaint and cozy with all of the perks of home. Close proximity to the Baylor campus. While the location is residential and a bit older it was quiet and not lots of traffic. Would have been nice to have a half bathroom on the lower level. That would be my only improvement. Otherwise an all together great stay.

Wonderful Barnette!
This was a wonderful place to stay when you are in Waco. Exactly like the listing and pictures. Immaculate! The neighborhood was quiet and it was conveniently located to everything-the Silos, Baylor Campus, Restaurants, Cameron Park, etc. Maggie was amazing start to finish and made the home very welcoming and even included a bottle of wine for our stay! Such a nice touch!

Perfect Small House for Baylor Visit

I was initially worried about the area of town where this house was located but my MIL and SIL loved the house. When I was assured by the owner that the neighborhood was safe I felt much better. The owner definitely went out of her way to ensure a great stay.

Such a great little cottage! Clean, beautifully decorated, lots of extras and very comfortable! We had a great girl friends trip and enjoyed every minute at the cottage in between outings. There is only one bathroom but that’s already advertised and everything else is fantastic!!

The property was close to Magnolia, Heritage Homestead and Baylor. The decor was cute and the house had everything we could have asked for. We would highly recommend this property. It would be perfect if you were coming for a football weekend or as we did, for a girl's trip.

Gorgeous Little Cottage
I love the VRBO process. Scrolling through the available homes for rent is so easy as well as how it all works. Our daughter and family have used VRBO many times and always had awesome accommodations. This was our first time to use VRBO but it won’t be our last. It was a great experience! Maggie our host could not have been more attentive. After scheduling our stay she answered all concerns and questions promptly. The house was just as described, absolutely gorgeous! She also has it furnished with every amenity needed for a stay away from home. There are white terry cloth robes, extra bed linens, plenty of towels/washcloths, personal products in case you forgot. The kitchen was stocked with quick breakfast items, snacks, coffee, cold drinks in the refrigerator. Something special for my husband and I was on the wall in the living area, a picture of the newspaper article of the day they walked on the moon July 20,1969, the day we got married! Of course Maggie did not know that but it was a special moment for us to walk in and see it. 🤗 Thank you Maggie for this charming home away from home that made our trip even more enjoyable!

My daughter and I loved this adorable little cottage while visiting Baylor University. The house was clean and very well-appointed. Maggie, the property manager, was so easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely return!

Cozy beautiful home
A cozy beautiful home with an awesome property manager! Everything we needed was provided for us. The only suggestion we have is to bring a noise machine or white noise app if you have young children or have difficulty sleeping. Due to loud booming music and a dog that enjoyed barking through the night , we were so glad to have one for our toddler. We all three slept well and would recommend this home to anyone needing a place to stay in Waco.

Very very nice remodel of a small home
This property is a fabulous alternative to even the nicest of hotel rooms. Very nice furniture, bed, appliances, etc. Appreciated the nice touches like water in the fridge, the cappuccino machine and a bottle of wine. Well worth the price for a 2+ night stay. Oh and the TV doubles as a piece of art. Cool! Scraping the bottom of the barrel here as I have nothing really critical to say but the location of thermostat (or some other unknown factor) makes upstairs really hot so had to turn it way down to be able to sleep when cold out. Would stay here again. Owner stayed in touch and seemed to really care.

This Beautiful home was perfect for a getaway in Waco. I booked this for my wife’s Bday girls weekend and while she enjoyed The Silos, this house was a huge highlight of the trip. From my wife: we slept deeply on the beds and enjoyed hours of downtime on the couch. The owner has everything you need and the amenities made it a relaxing vacation. Best amenities: W/D, in shower shampoo/body wash/conditioner, robes, blankets, snack and water upon arrival! Communication with the owner was easy and we received a quick response. We hope to book again for our next Waco trip. I highly recommend this spot!

Beautiful home and charming neighborhood. It’s 2 miles from downtown shops and restaurants — including Magnolia Market and the Silos. I felt like I was in a 5-star hotel with all the amenities. She left water in the fridge, Nespresso machine/coffee machine , and snacks. The bedrooms had robes and slippers to relax and lounge. The bathroom had extra things under the sink in case you forgot something. The master-bed was so comfortable and the curtains made it cozy and private. We enjoyed the charm of this house and will rebook for our next weekend get away to Waco.

This has been one of my favorite rentals!
This is an historic home, but feels like new on the inside. Looks like everything but the floors (which are refinished) have been replaced, and the construction was done well! It has central air conditioning, and new windows, so it is quiet, cool, and fresh inside. Plenty of outlets and lighting in all the right places with this new construction. The décor is great, even better than the photos show, and done with quality materials including thick blackout curtains in the bedroom, super comfortable bed/bedding, and sectional sofa. Every window has tree views, and it felt very roomy for a small historic home. This place does have a bathtub! The owner has thought of everything! There were little surprises and extras in every room to make the stay more comfortable. Phone charger, robes and slippers in the bathroom, extra toiletries in case were forgotten, Perrier and Fuji water in the fridge. And it has both a Keurig and a Nespresso. And the bed was SO comfortable. Highly recommend!
