「The property appeared fine at first glance but once I'd spent a little time there it became clear it was not properly clean. The sofa had something crusted to it. The wall above the bed had clearly visible dust balls sticking to it across the whole length (difficult to see in the photos, but obvious in person). The bedding had a funny smell in some places but not others. The floor was gritty so my feet were soon unclean again after a shower. All of this was particularly disappointing as I had...

「If you love a peaceful country retreat then this is for you. Wildlife all around. The owner could not be more helpful. Peacocks at the back door herds of dear and flocks of amazing rheas much better than advertised. You do need a car with good clearance for the track through the forest but it's worth it as it all ads to the amazing adventure. Thank you once again to our host Martin who meets guests at the gate to lead you through the forest.」

「A luxury cottage in a beautiful setting. Tastefully furnished with a pretty garden. Unfortunately the countryside setting wasn’t that peaceful as sporadically two very loud men were working on restoring some vintage double decker buses in the adjoining barn - language and diesel fumes not so welcome.」
