In Waidhofen an der Ybbs, just 10 km away, you can not only go shopping on a day trip, there is also plenty of culture: Rothschild Castle, a museum and the Krautberg viewpoint are well worth a detour. The Ybbstal Nature Park offers wonderful hiking trails and after an eventful day you can go for a swim in the Waidhofen park pool. The Schwellöd power station or the forest climbing park are sure to be of interest to children, but the Schwarzbach area also invites you to explore.
