“The room was very clean and comfortable. The owner was very kind and friendly and welcomed our family warmly. My only mistake was only staying one night. I would like to come back and enjoy the pool.”

“The owners live next door, but we were never disturbed (hopefully we didn't disturb them as we had a 3.5yr old and a 7mth old). We were given a nice welcome. Bathroom was a little dated, but was in excellent condition, and shower was great. Kitchen is small, with minimal work space, but functional. Owner has been advised to be clearer with the description of the 'oven' as it's an air fryer oven, so is very small. Other than that the beds are very comfy, the place is very clean, the views……

“Excellent place to stay. Beautiful grounds and pool areas. Owners very welcoming and responsive. Vineyard restaurant was a disappointment. They couldn’t find our reservation and I showed the email confirmation. Food was average at best and overpriced. Steak was ordered medium rare was over cooked and greasy. Prawn curry was a very small portion, nothing special. Restaurant dining area wasn’t clean. ”

“Room was adequate but small. Patio area for Blue Room was on walkway to the pool so no privacy and a bit noisy. Common areas and kitchen were very nice. Convenient and good location for walking to town.”

“I’ve stayed at The Maxim in Albany a few times, and it’s always a pleasant experience with professional and friendly staff. I especially enjoy the spa area, which includes a pool, sauna, steam room, and spa. The location is very handy, and the rooms are always clean and well-equipped. They are on the compact side, so entry-level rooms might not be ideal for a long stay, but perfect for shorter visits.””
