「My husband and I stayed here for my birthday weekend. It was absolutely perfection. Unlike many vacation rentals everything was provided, ample cleaning supplies, toilet paper, and paper towels. The location is unbeatable a very private lodge surrounded by nature. Beautiful birds visited each morning and we were even greeted by an armadillo one afternoon. The lodge itself is immaculate and well-maintained with beautiful and quaint decor. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need...

「These grounds are BEAUTIFUL, so peaceful, relaxing, the gardens were so well kept, like a story book! The history is amazing! We had 10 people stay for my daughter’s SFA graduation and they all want to return, because it was such a wonderful place to stay, so relaxing and peaceful. (It was about 15 minutes south of Lufkin and about 25 more minutes to Nacogdoches, but we’ll worth the drive! We will be back♥️.
