"The views from the deck absolutely cannot be beat. The house itself had great charm - almost a cabin on the ocean vibe. The house is very well stocked with all you would ever need! The path to the beach was indeed challenging due to recent runoff. Additionally, parking was pretty limited. All in all, a great place! We hope to return!"

"We visit the coast a lot for our getaway. Overall the property is what we needed but with a few hiccups. PRO's: The property had everything and more that you would need. As an animal lover I noticed they even had supplies for your fur baby if you bringthem along.This has great accessibility for wheelchair especially bathroom needs."

"The Ocean Rose is a clean, comfortable house with a lovely ocean view. The beds are comfortable & the house layout was nice for 4 adults. The close beach access made it get to the ocean for a walk. The house is as described, however it’s actually much nicer than the pictures show. We would stay here again!"

"this is our third time staying here and it was great as usual. The house has wonderful views of the ocean and is in a quiet neighborhood . Beach access is super easy, just across the 101, which can be busy but is manageable. Easy access to Cape perpetua and Newport Beds are comfy, great shower and wonderful deep bath tub. House was clean with plenty of supplies. One request, would be a kettle for the tea drinkers. Looking forward to returning"

"Very nice house for a couple that is one property off the beach, with good views and super access to an incredible beachside trail. The house was just as advertised and all systems were in good order and the beds and furniture are comfortable. No dishwasher would be an issue for us for longer stays, but not for the two nights we stayed. We would definitely stay again. "

"Nice view. Very rainy but managed to get to the beach which has an access a couple of houses down. Very nice beach with the big stump just a short walk away. House was good. I did not do any cooking this trip so I can't comment on the kitchen set up. Slept in the back bedroom with the attached bathroom. It was all right, the bed needs a new mattress or better support. Luckily I brought my check in/checkout sheet I printed, there was no check out instructions in the house. I would stay there...

"Over all the stay was nice. I was irritated that when i found food crumbs and ants across the floor. The response was to bring ant bait, which would be fine, except they left it at the door with the expectation that i would be setting it out. The heat was centralized in the hallway, and did not really warm up the rest of the unit. Would have been nice to have some sort of awning or cover on the porch."
