「Older motel. Building was ok. It was clean but needed remodeling」

「This is by far the nastiest property I have ever had the displeasure of staying at. The room smelled like moldy dogs, there were dead flys everywhere and the mattress cover stains from God knows what. Lucky I was on camping trip so I had river shoes to walk around room, and sleeping bag that I used to sleep on top of covers. I only got the room because of heavy rain storm, If given the choice next time I’ll sleep outside in the rain. At least I know what I’ll be facing. 」

「Host was fantastic in providing details regarding the property and the greater Mena area. We really enjoyed staying at the Sassafras Inn.」

「We had such a lovely stay. The accommodations were very nice and the bed was comfy. We had a wonderful chat with our hosts over coffee and breakfast. The beautiful park right across the street was a plus. We will definitely stay there again if we need accommodations in Mena.」

「We were check in and out with the most kindness and helpful experience. Room were cleaned, beds made, fresh towels each day!」

「Everything was great. Was a little sad the pool was closed but they let us know online and had a note at the front desk saying it was. So we knew before we came that it was closed but would have been nice to take our kids to swim.」

「My room was very clean and I loved the big bathroom. Breakfast was good. Staff was helpful to find me a place for dinner.」

「I was told by the manager that they had zero rooms available and that they were not even associated with Expedia in any way and I have been trying to get a refund since then. Worst experience ever!!!」
