"Staff was great and very helpful. This is our second time here. The pool is fun for both kids and adults. Breakfast was plentiful and good quality and got us ready for the day of adventure."

"The place is beautiful; breathtaking from the moment you walk in. The staff is so warm, kind, sweet, helpful, for the most part. Very professional too. The food and drinks were delicious. Some very strange thing was the pool experience was uncomfortable. The water was so cold it didn’t match the warm weather of a hot day. Other luxury hotels would have heated water to make the experience more pleasant and enjoyable. Also, a lot of the tiles of the pool were broken, and coming off. Like they are were not glued properly, I noticed by the staircase along the edge where the chairs are and also the edge where you hold onto closest to the falls. Tiles were wobbly and coming off the wall falling to the bottom floor of the pool. Poor quality of tile work in a luxurious hotel. But my experience was still great."

"The hotel takes care of the customers very well! As we arrived in the midnight due to flight delay, the hotel sent very detailed message and video to tell how to find our room. The breakfast is also good. They arranged transportation services for us to go to the park as well as the service for cross border transfer. We were very happy with the hotel!"

"It is a very beautiful property feels like it's at the end of the road you turn and go down a long road to finally get to it and all of a sudden it appears it says they serve a continental breakfast but it was a huge buffet breakfast which was pretty incredible the water was highly overpriced a bottle of water Nicholas was an incredible help at the front desk the rooms appeared to be quite small. Once again the best part was The Helpful staff and the incredible unexpected breakfast."

"I'd totally go back to Tupa Lodge. When I booked, I saw some bad reviews, but a lot of it was about the last little bit of road, like 300 to 400 meters. The road's a bit rough, but that's not unusual around here. Just drive a bit slower and you will be fine. We used Uber and taxis with no problems. I actually think that's a good thing—less traffic means less noise. The peace and quiet are the best part of the lodge. The grounds are beautiful and chill, right on the river looking at Paraguay to the west. The cabins are clean and rustic but have everything you need. The staff were super nice. The day we left, our flight got delayed, and they were cool with us staying an extra 4 hours and using everything. There's a beautiful deck and a two-level pool, perfect for chilling after a long day or just hanging out all day if you want. The restaurant has local food, and the local fish I had was amazing. They were fine with dietary restrictions. The whole vibe of the place was relaxing and welcoming. This is a lodge and not the Ritz Carlton. I totally recommend Tupa Lodge."
