The Barn, mini petting zoo mid term 1-6 month stays

  • Mid term stays, 1-6 months . Perfect for traveling professionals etc. new washer/dryer added.
    We get all four seasons & starry night skies! The apartment/barn has 1 bedroom with a full bed, a shower and toilet, a futon couch, pot belly stove, dining table, dresser, wine bar with 3 bar stools, small refrigerator/freezer, tea/coffee maker (regular/decaf provided), toaster oven, hot dog toaster, single electric burner, microwave, grill, blender, and BBQ. Outside, you can feed the mins horses & goats carrots, a horse shoe pit, axe throwing board & hammock to enjoy. Clean Linen is on the bed for you (housekeeping will wash linen & blankets every week) extra blankets, towels, salt/pepper, duck eggs are provided when available, Just bring your own food. Keep food contained to avoid rodents and ants. Please throw your trash in the dumpster at front entry gate.

Charming, rustic, cozy place to see the stars and some animals. Make sure you screenshot the gate code before turning off the main highway, because cell service isn’t great and you might not be able to access this app. (WiFi is great once you arrive.) We would stay here again.

Welcoming host. Great property. Kitchen is tight for a family but works well. Comfy bed. Brought our own mattress for the kids. Warm at night. Clean. Love the animals and the axe throwing- we brought our own.

We enjoyed staying in the apartment above the Barn. The mini ponies and the donkey who live on the property are fun to pet, and the chickens, ducks, turkeys and peacocks were all on display. The bed was comfortable, but the chairs and the shower were a bit too small for me, since I am larger than most people. However, the experience was so different from other places I stayed that I enjoyed it despite the inconvenience.

We stayed here on our way to the desert. What a unique property! So many fun animals to visit, and Amber was lovely and attentive. We loved the duck eggs she offered and her hospitality.

Close to wineries

Had a nice little getaway to enjoy some wines of the area!!! The property is very peaceful and I love the farm!! So nice to sit and drink coffee on the porch in the morning. Perfect setting for peace and tranquility.

Such a Cool Place!

The animals were all so friendly and well taken care of. Steve and Amber were so kind and showed us all the animals. The barn was rustic and so cute! We had a fantastic time there and it was so peaceful.

Relaxing weekend

Wonderful and relaxing place to stay. Very clean and had everything we needed. Amber was a great host and she even recommended a great hiking trail. She also took the time to show us where it was. Definitely a wonderful place to get away from it all.

Great little farm stay

This is a beautifully maintained mini working farm with a comfy barn and a wide range of animals to check out (some of the rescued). It's in the country and quiet but easy to get to, Amber is a great host, and the bed is comfy. I would definitely return.

Wonderful location

Such a wonderful vacation! Beautiful property that was warm and cozy on the cooler December mountain days. The animals are an added piece of joy to the stay. The sweet rescued animals are in good hands here too! Amber was so kind and helpful during our stay. We will be returning if our family remains close by :) so happy that we found this location
