“There were a lot of bugs, being so close to the lake. They were getting in from the fins on the ac units, so maybe pack some tape to help seal. Everything else was great, our host was fantastic and very responsive!”

“I could tell by the description and photos that this might be an old apartment that has the basics for sleeping. It sure was, with uneven floors and an old building feel to it. What pleasantly surprised me though was how clean it all was. Shower, stove, fridge, floors - everything was completely white and clean. The bed was comfortable and warm with the space heater, and even the tv and sofa were great. So if you want to spare your wallet and are okay to enjoy a tiny space with clean comfort……

“Loved staying at this place! We came for a concert and soaking in the hot tub before and after was a game changer! The hosts had everything we needed and then some. The bed was comfy, everything felt clean and fresh. The decor is spot on! The only tiny criticism is that the water in the shower gets cold quickly and there was no gas in the fire pit (or it didn’t seem to work for us). If we ever need a place to stay in Syracuse, we will be back to The Simpatico!”

“We went to Syracuse for the Syracuse nationals car show. Approximately five days before we left, I asked the host if there was an outside grill. I was told that there would be one there.. We were one hour outside of Syracuse when I texted the host to ask about keys and a lockbox. I got a text back that stated we were supposed to have been there five days previous. Needless to say, that statement gave me a few more gray hairs. After a few more text messages, the host finally got it right. I would……
