Labor Day Fun

Adam's place is really nice and very close to the climbing, hiking and kayaking of the OBED River. The cabin was clean, hot tub hot and communication easy. We will definitely be back!

Hiking getawaty

Beautiful place, very clean, cold AC, easy to get to- though remote and very quiet/peaceful. Quick drive to Frozen Head or Obed WSR for activities. This is a gem!

Mini vacation

If you're looking for a place to stay and away from the tourist areas, then this is the place! Views were beautiful, the chalet was positioned well, you did notice having neighbors while sitting out on the deck. Got daily visits from the neighbor's dog, friendly. Hot tub was wonderful! Only downside we would have is there is no grill & we love to grill. Overall would stay again and recommend.

Romantic, Secluded, and Lovely

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Nemo Tunnel Chalet. There is a neighboring property fairly close, but once you are inside the chalet, it is positioned to give the occupents complete privacy. It felt secluded and surrounded by nature. The interior is very aesthetically pleasing. Modern, light filled, warm and classic. It looks like the perfect setting for an Instagram post! We easily found everything we needed for food prep. The hot tub and porch were perfect for relaxing, and the outdoor pavilion with seating and corn hole was also a nice touch. We had a restful and refreshing time in beautiful surroundings. Gorgeous hiking (that wasn't too strenuous) was available nearby. We particularly enjoyed the walk to the Nemo Tunnel that the property is named after. 100% recommend a stay at the Nemo Tunnel Chalet!

We had a very restful stay in Wartburg while here visiting family. It was a clean and modern design, roomy family area and large kitchen. The beds were super comfortable and the view was amazing. Would definitely recommend and will stay here again when we visit.

Enjoyed the stay, nice getaway for a couple of days. Hot tub was fantastic and clean which if very important. Kitchen had everything you need and bed was very comfortable, and bathroom had plenty of towels and other items you could possibly need. Would recommend others to stay here when going to this area. Adam was a great host and very informative.

Let me start by saying we will absolutely stay here again! The house is modern, cozy, high ceilings, a large deck with incredible view, large gazebo, and hot tub. We were there for a rock climbing trip and we looked forward to ending climbing early (which we never do) in order to get back to the house and enjoy it! There's nothing to say but positives.

Went for dark sky and fishing / hiking at nearby Obed. Also visited Frozen Head state park and the History Museum in Oak Ridge. We had a great time and enjoyed the chalet very much.

Such a well kept, dreamy place to stay. We spent just as much time outside as in. Good kitchen for dinner prep. Def recommend coffee on the porch as the sun is rising and filtering through the trees. Beautiful.

Birthday retreat

Amazing property! Absolutely loved the decor and simplicity of the space. Everything felt fresh and brand new in chalet. Great touches with appliances. Awesome brewery in town was a nice change of pace from hiking and exploring. Will definitely come back and recommend this place to others that are looking for a getaway!

A fire pit outside or fireplace inside would be nice.More towels for use. Cleanse kitchen cabinets and utensils. Also more plates and cups would also be nice. 1 place setting for 4 people kept us hand washing dishes for reuse when we just wanted to relax and use the dishwasher for final clean up. There were hundreds of bugs in the home that I videoed.It was freezing (29 and snowing outside) and with the house rule to keep the temp at 70 degrees- it was cold!I messaged the host about the temp and bugs and received zero response.The pics are a little misleading.. the hot tub is in direcr view of a neighboring home that appears to be residential- needs a privacy screen of some kind.The home was overall cute but seemed to be a bare minimum in “comforts” compared to the many other hosted homes we have stayed in.
