“Great Stay. Beds were comfortable, house was very clean. Margie was very sweet and responsive. All the extras in the house were awesome, especially the fresh baked cookies upon arrival. The house is about 6 minutes from Norris Damn Marina and 15 minutes from Wind Rock trail head. So close to many fun adventures. Easy to park your trailers. Everything was perfect. ”

“The home is beautiful, and the views are spectacular. This is truly one of the best parts of Norris Lake. The home was comfortable and large enough that we all had our privacy when needed yet we could all gather together for meals, games, and relaxing. The dock is very large and gave us both sun and shade options. The lake and mountains are the very best part! We all jumped in our boat to enjoy the day skiing, tubing, and swimming in turtle cove! “This property provided everything that we needed for our weekend trip to Windrock. We were looking for a clean place to sleep and take showers and this place provided that. We were at the park most of the time and hanging out with friends at another location so it was perfect for what we were needing. ”

We hired a fishing guide to take us fishing and then watched the football game on TV. The house was perfect. ”

“Shady Pines was so lovely, we booked another trip after we'd been there only a day into our 4-night stay! The house is super cute (just as pictured), with a really well-stocked kitchen, a spectacular view, and a truly relaxing atmosphere. It's easy to travel to--our group came from Ohio, Virginia, and Arkansas. And it's not as far "out of town" as it might look on a map, so there's plenty of stores and restaurants nearby if desired. We mostly preferred to stay in, as this was a writing getaway……
