Very affordable and cozy room in the DC area. Communication with the host was quick and efficient. Very hospitable and knowledgeable about the area. Had all the amenities you need!

My biggest concern was my own safety once I left the townhouse. The area the host lives is going under gentrification. The neighborhood that the host is nice, but getting to and from is rough in places. If you are a single woman I would only rent this place if you own a car or take Ubers. The buses are ok in the daytime, but night it gets rougher. As someone without a car, during the daytime I walked to the metro 1.2 miles and took walks around the neighborhood. I took the bus during the day and night and Ubers at night.
