  • The house consists of 2 units. The main house is the larger part of the home across 2 levels. The main floor has a large living area, dining room, kitchen, sunroom and walk out to back patio that is connected to the lower level apartment. You can access the apartment from under the front porch or from the back patio area. The lower level apartment is a 1 bedroom apartment with a small kitchen, bathroom and small bedroom with a queen size bed.

Graduation weekend stay

Perfection in every way

We stayed at this location for several days over Thanksgiving. Communication was fast, the location is perfect (2 blocks from the metro, and a Target, as well as several restaurants). Our group included 6 people, myself, my husband, our 2 teen/adult children, and my parents. There was enough room for us to have our own space. Would stay here again!

Expansive property for a big group

This place was perfect for my group of colleagues traveling for a conference. With the 4 queen bedrooms and 1 walk-through futon, there was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen and living rooms were well-stocked with tea and toys for all ages. Checkin was seamless and Colin helped us make sure that the street parking worked well.

It's tough to find a space that can house a large group (8-10), but this house fit the bill. Walking distance to stores/restaurants... and the downstairs apartment with it's own kitchen was a lifesaver when cooking meals for that many!

Spacious and Clean

Colin was quick to communicate and even allowed us to check in when the cleaners were done. The place is spacious and roomy for a large family. Street parking was easy with the parking passes. The location is close to the Columbia Heights metro stop so you can quickly get to the Smithsonian and DC attractions. we had a great visit!

Washington DC sightseeing trip.

We were five women celebrating a mile stone birthday who came to explore Washington DC. The home was very close to the metro station that took us everywhere we wanted to go. This property was perfect for our multi-generational family vacation. Just 2 blocks from the Green line, we didn’t need a car, and the walking was safe. We were a group of friends from all over the country returning to Washington for a college reunion. The house was very well appointed with plenty of room.
