It was just me and my one year old traveling and I felt very safe here. There’s a pay by the hour parking lot located right across the street if you don’t want to pay for the parking garage. Hot tip: it’s free from 10pm-7am AND not sure if it’s a glitch or what but they have free 5 hour parking in the app 😉. 10/10 would definitely stay again! They’ve sold me in the tapestry collection. I will be staying in one during our trip to NOLA next!

The elevators didn't work one evening and we had to climb 9 flights of stairs to get to our room. Also, we requested towels in the evening and waited until midnight and they never brought them so we had to call again in the morning and wait to shower! Parking garage is VERY tight to get in and out and had to drive down 3 levels to find a spot to park. Be advised that a big SUV wouldn't make the turns or fit. Small, cute lobby. It was close to where we needed to be but due to the inconvenient parking garage and the average service we wouldn't stay here again.

I have stayed here many times . Overall it was good but there was only one elevator working for about two days which made getting to my room challenging. Also I had to switch rooms bc the dead bolt lock wasn’t secure. Thank you

They locked me out a room I paid two nights for on top of still trying to charge my card for an extra night they even though I already paid. Chairs in room were dirty. The bathroom was small. Elevators take forever and barely work. Domestic violence in the halls. You can hear the people above you. Garage was too small. And they still trying to charge me.

I have not been back to Bethesda in almost 20 years. Needless to say the area (and the traffic) has changed quite bit! As far as the Tapistry hotel goes: nice clean room and comfy bed. Elevators were quiet, but only the one elevator to service the lower parking lots was not working (wedding use?) So we had to use stairs. Room ac was rumbly. Did the job for a fortunately cool night. The parking lot is quite tight with sharp turns. Cars pretty much have to take turns going around corners. Breakfast is not free, nor is parking unless you are an overnight guest. Plenty of places to eat off site. Sushi right across the street! When I went to check out, I could not understand the accents of the young men at the desk. Would Ibgo back? Possibly. The price was pretty good. Depending on reason being in area, I would check around some others spots closer to Kensington/Rockville. Oh, I did feel quite safe walking outside. I went to the grocery the next block over. It was early evening and thecsun had not set.

There were a few issues with the hotel. The staff seems over worked and took long waits to check in/out or offer service. There is very loud construction happening in the lobby which is very distracting. I feel the price is not worth what I got for this stay. The room was fine for what it was, but at the price point I could have stayed closer to the train station/attractions and paid far less.

ChatGPT I'm really shocked this hotel is rated well, maybe it's because of its low price. But honestly, it's a terrible place. First off, the neighborhood doesn't seem safe at all. I arrived at around 1 AM and was met by a really unfriendly guy at the front desk. He wasn't welcoming in the slightest, just bluntly asked for my ID and credit card without even a basic greeting or smile. When I asked about where to park, he was unhelpful and just said "full," leaving me to figure it out on my own. They messed up my reservation too. I had booked a room with a king-sized bed but they gave me a room with two queens instead. That wasn't the worst part though. The room was filthy and, to our horror, it was crawling with bed bugs. My wife and I started itching as soon as we got into bed. I couldn't stay there, so I immediately called Expedia to find a different hotel and left first thing in the morning. What's more frustrating is that the hotel refused to refund me, even though they clearly messed up with both the booking and the condition of the room. My advice? Stay away from this place if you care about your safety and want a peaceful stay. It's just not worth the risk or the hassle.
