“We stayed here for x2 nights before heading down to St Ives to break up our long drive from Manchester. We had a great time and would definitely do this again. Watergate Bay beach is literally a 4 minute walk from this apartment which is amazing! Parking is included too so you don’t have to worry about your car being restricted in car parks. There are lots of nice places to get coffee, breakfast and dinner too but the apartment is cute enough if you decide to make dinner here as it can be……

“We loved staying at the Minerva Guesthouse. The hosts are lovely and thoughtful. as are the staff. It's really what makes this place special. The location is excellent, right near the beach for an early morning or evening walk when the tide is out. Our room for three was tight but with everything we needed: an excellent shower, comfortable, clean bed, and closet space. Go for the location, but stay for the hosts. ”

“We loved our night stay here! Was welcomed by a very friendly and chatty man, was very simple to check in and out. The view from our room made our stay, we fell in love with the balcony views. We ate at the restaurant and it was delicious. No complaints at all! And we can’t wait to book again, thank you ”

“We had family recommend Lewinnick, and we were not disappointed. The room was perfect, and we adored being able to go on all the nearby walks, etc. The bed was wonderful, but it would have been nice to have a couple of spare pillows in the (empty!) chest in the room for additional comfort. But I cannot complain - it was fantastic as is. The food was great, but I feel there could be a couple of tweaks. For eg. my husband ordered the bakewell tart, and it arrived cold. I would expect things like……

“Beautiful hotel, parking is available but limited with very tight spaces and on a hill so be aware if you have a larger vehicle. Spa was lovely, staff were amazing, room was spacious. We didn't pay for a sea view, so our view was out onto a very run down and filthy roof top which made it feel more like being in the middle of a deprived city area rather than beautiful seaside resort. It didn't affect our stay, but worth knowing if you're planning a romantic getaway. ”
