Wonderful time!

Our family had a wonderful time staying at this house! Perfect place to relax after visiting New Orleans! We enjoyed the pool, hanging out on the quiet beach area and eating at the local restaurants!

Location and home is perfect!! Home had everything you could need and was clean! The beach was perfect at times we was the only ones there. Owner was very friendly and responded very quickly to my messages. We will definitely be back!

Best stay!

We had a fantastic stay at this rental home during Taylor Swift weekend in NOLA! The house was spotless and in a perfect location, just across the street from the beach. The beach itself was clean and calm, making it an ideal spot to relax. Our host was phenomenal—very accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. The locals were friendly, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. We truly enjoyed our trip and can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great getaway!

Location!

The location of this house cannot be beat. You are steps away from the beach. The pool is a great amenity as well. This was our second stay and we will definitely return again in the future!

Labor Day Weekend 2024 - 2nd Time Staying!

This is the perfect property for a family that loves the beach and the pool. The covered lower level is great for rainy days or to get out of the sun and play games, eat, etc. The pool is great and easy beach access is a huge bonus. Communication is great with the host. I cannot recommend this property enough. We’ll be back again.

The perfect getaway

This was the perfect getaway for our family and friends from New Orleans. We had three adults and five little girls and we went back-and-forth from the beach to the pool, played games from the fabulous game closet and had lovely meals on the porch. The host were very communicative and had everything we needed at the home. We would love to come back!

Amazing Property!

We had a great time, most of the time we had the beach to ourselves. Water was very warm and shallow, great for our two young kids. The neighbors were very friendly and had lots of recommendations. Very quick response to any issues. Highly recommend staying here! We will be back!

Wonderful location and great communications

This home fit our group perfectly. We loved the front porch and sat out there often. The beach is just down the drive and across a non busy road. There is a great walking sidewalk beach side. The house was comfortable and the host was quick to answer questions. Missing Waveland already!

Cozy beach stay

We loved our stay!!! It was nice and quiet not a crazy tourist town. Everything was a short drive from groceries to food. New Orleans is a hour away. The beach felt like our own private oasis The kids loved the pool. Only downside is if you're stuck indoors the main tv wouldn't allow me to sign into anything other than Netflix and Amazon prime But it isn't like we stayed indoors much

3rd times the charm!

This was my 3rd time staying here, first two with friends this time with family. We had a fantastic time once again! Great communication with the owner. Had everything we needed. Kids loved the beach right across the street and then the pool on the front yard. Went to Crab Festival a few miles down the road Saturday. Already trying to plane trip number 4! Definitely will be back.

Excellent Home!

This home was perfect for us. My best friend and I wanted a beach getaway and this hit the spot. The house is immaculate and comfortable. The front porch overlooking the ocean has a dining table and we spent a good amount of time there. The beach is a short walk and we were mostly by ourselves. There are numerous restaurants within 10 minutes. The host was very responsive and provided all the necessary information. We would stay here again. I highly recommend it.

Great Family Vaca

We had a great time at Caytees place! It was a perfect fit for our family, the pool really hit the spot and my granddaughter cant stop talking about it all the way back to MO! The property was clean, well furnished and the kitchen was awesome for cooking for the fam. The neighbors were so helpful and sweet, offering tips for coffee/eating and it was a pleasure to visit with them. The location was perfect for our visit with other family that lived in the area. The beach so close and not busy was awesome for relaxing/walks/crabbing. The porch was perfect for family sitting & sunrises as well! We were so happy & thankful to find this place and not be stuck in a hotel! We have already told others about this little gem and will definitely book again when we return! Thank you Caytee!

Relaxing stay on the beach

We spent 4 nights and had a wonderful time. The house is clean, there are 3 bedrooms, so the 6 of us had a lot of space. The queen beds were squeaky, but still comfortable so we slept well. Having the option of the pool or the beach was great (we did both throughout the day). The water at the beach was warm in mid April (warmer than the pool, which was a fine temperature also). The beach stays shallow for a long time, I walked out a quarter mile and it never went above my waist. The kitchen is small, but has what you need (a bit short on spoons, perhaps previous guests have taken some?). We used the appliances and all worked fine (dryer is old, so it takes a while to dry). Supermarket(s) and other places are nearby, Bay St Louis is a few miles down the road and is a cute town to explore. All in all, we had a great stay!

Nice little get away for mother/son trip

We really enjoyed the pool, it was nice and warm and very relaxing. The view from the house was great and we enjoyed crossing the not so busy street to get to the beach. You will need to drive a little bit to get a variety of places to eat. We tried a little family diner called Dat Kitchen. It was really good and we drove a little over an hour to do an airboat ride in Luling LA called Rajun Cajun. It was such a good time, my 18yr old son and I really enjoyed it. I will say if you get a box of donuts do not leave them on the counter. It was still sealed but we woke up to little ants all over them. There was something that looked like ear wax on the doorframe to one of the bedrooms. These minor things did not take away from us having a good time though.

Great Find!

The area was peaceful and often we saw no one else on the beach. While there is no “beach service,” it doesn’t matter because you have your pick of the area and can set-up however and wherever you want! There is no rushing to grab a chair first thing in the morning to get a good view of the ocean. It’s all yours! The kids loved playing in the water. It is very shallow and really shallow in the evening. The community has been through a lot, and we learned even more at the Ground Zero Museum. This area is an easy drive to Bay St. Louis and Pass Christian. The traffic is non-existent compared to other beach towns. We even did a day trip to New Orleans. The house had room for the five of us. We often ate meals on the front porch. Sadly, the mosquitos are terrible for those who are prone to bites, like myself. My four other family members had no bites. Use a good spray immediately! I’m alway worried about the AC not being able to stay cool in hot weather homes. This had no problems! Lastly, the host has great communication. She went above and beyond!

Peace and sunshine in a tall glass!

It's attributed that Walt Witman said "Keep your face always toward the sunshine, and shadows will fall behind you." Well, let me tell you, that wouldn't do justice to staying in this beautiful place. It was that and so much more! Even when it rained we were able to sit on the front porch and eat every meal, it was like the rain was part of my Spotify playlist. The house sits back away from the street, with the salt water pool in the front lawn guiding your view towards the gulf. We never made it to the beach, because that pool was all we needed, spacious, clean, and no chlorine smell! Mornings were magical, mid days were magical, and I'll let you guess what the evenings were. At night it's plenty dark and quiet. You can see the stars with little to no light pollution, yet in just a short drive you could be at a restaurant, a bar, or the grocery, ice cream shop, store, etc. If you are the more stay in away from the sun type, there is plenty of shade and seating in the covered front porch. If you are more of the I need AC type, inside there's a closet full of games and plenty of time passers to share with family or friends, a nice smart tv and plenty of seating for movie night. The house is welcoming all on its own, but not more than Caytee. If I said she was a breath of fresh air to communicate with, it would be so on par with her place full of fresh air, sunshine and comfort. We can't wait to go back. Oh wait! No! is it too late too keep it a secret from al'o y'all?
