“Absolutely gorgeous! This is completely secluded in the woods with total privacy but just 5 minutes from town for restaurants, mini golf, ice cream and a sweet little park on the Kennebek River. Every detail was well thought out and everything we needed was provided for us. Camping without any of the work. Darts, cornhole, board games, hammock, propane and charcoal grills. A woodstove is in the tent foe cooler weather and firewood is included on site! The solar generator provided plenty of power……

“We brought our own motor boat easy to access from public launch. Live locally just brought truck trailer back home. Had our own private dock which was great! Site was clean and completely set up to relax! Even firepit had been prepped w wood! From silverware to fresh water of plenty, to bedding, med kit, bug spray, charged batteries for fan/ lantern. The shared outhouse was very clean as well. The only tweak I would suggest is to have extra toulet paper in holder in bathroom and have much bigger……

“We had a good Christmas there, it was very clean and comfortable. The problem we encountered is the bathroom that had a bath tub, the spout in the tub part just didn’t have any water pressure to it and didn’t work at all after a short while. Also the water pressure in the whole house was in poor condition and the hot water didn’t work at all. Other than that all the rest was a comfortable stay.”

“A beautiful cottage! Very nice, clean and quiet. Located near many ponds and lakes in the heart of Maine. We enjoyed the star filled skies by the fire pit and the surrounding nature. ”

“Comfortable and well appointed! Gary & Irma go the extra mile to make this a perfect stay. Fresh cream and eggs in the fridge. Fishing pole and lures at the entrance. A lovely experience!”

“I will return. I could have stayed longer. It was a nice respite from a stressful life. Hosts were amazing. Extremely accommodating! My dog loved being able to swim (and chase sticks - finally learned to bring them back to the beach) every day. I think it helped that the hosts left a container of the training cookies. And they left a dog bowl, which I forgot. The wood stove was perfect for keeping us warm at night and when my dog was a still chilly after her swims. Again, I will return!”
