The property features a gourmet chef's kitchen, fire pit, cozy back porch, al fresco dining, a play slide, a huge fenced in yard, and easy nature access.
The Space:
There are many beautiful spaces to relax in at the Birdsong Cottage - play board games or watch a movie in the living room, enjoy an evening drink overlooking the private yard, or make s'mores over the fire pit by the beautiful creek. Use the gas grill to make dinner and enjoy al fresco dining on the back porch. Take in the birdsong with your morning cup of coffee.
The master bedroom features a premium King bed, large flat screen smart TV, and an ensuite master bathroom with dual sinks. All rooms have been equipped with darkening shades and curtains for sleeping in if you prefer.
The second bedroom has a comfy Queen bed and shares a detached bathroom with the third bedroom.
The third bedroom has two Twin beds, perfect for larger groups. One extra fun feature of this house is the slide off the back porch, which enters the fenced in back yard!
Birdsong Cottage is nestled into a serene setting, perfectly located next to dozens of top local attractions and destinations (e.g. Lake Junaluska, Waynesville, Asheville, the Great Smoky Mountains, and many top eateries and shops)
• Set in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood 2 minutes from the Lake Junaluska golf course and 5 minutes from Lake Junaluska itself
• Overlooks the golf course and framed by creeks and trees. We highly recommend the stunning walk around the lake that you can access from your yard!
• Take out kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards available for rent and swim in the pool lakeside
• Enjoy a bike ride on the bike path that connects right at the main road
• Downtown Waynesville and all its cute shops and restaurants are 10 minutes away
• The bustling town of Asheville is less than 30 minutes away while Cherokee Resort & Casino is 35 minutes away
• Nearby hiking in Great Smoky Mountain National Park can also be accessed within 20 minutes of the property
• The ski mountain lifts (Cataloochee) are <30 minutes away for winter sports and activities

Pet Policy:
Only dogs are permitted at this property. A maximum of two dogs are allowed, each under 50 lbs. No other animals or pets of any kind are permitted. Dogs must be leashed outdoors at all times and are not allowed on furniture or beds. All dogs must be up to date on vaccinations and free of fleas and ticks. Failure to follow this policy may result in additional cleaning fees or removal from the property.
If you bring your dog with you, food and water bowls are provided, just remember to bring your doggie bags for the back yard!
