Perfect Family Vacation Home On The Lake!

  • Your vacation home is located on 2 gently sloping lots with over 220 feet of relaxing waterfront. With 4 bedrooms and 3 ½ baths your family and friends will have plenty of room to relax and unwind. There are games and toys for the children, books, big screen TVs with Roku and free WiFi. The large kitchen has everything you will need to make memorable family meals. There is also an outdoor gas BBQ for that big cookout. You can enjoy the large, covered, wrap around deck with awesome lake views. Down by the lake there is a large fire pit for fun evenings together. The large, private dock will comfortably house your boats with an excellent spot to swim, relax or do a little fishing. Just minutes to restaurants and shopping in the town of Wedowee and only 600 feet to a public boat ramp. You will love this vacation spot!

Amazing lake house to stay in and relaxing.

Great get away and great dock. But could use more comfortable beds and more firm pillows less soft other than that bed rooms and baths are great.

Vacation home

Spacious home in great location on Wedoweee

This property very clean in a great location on the lake. Very spacious. We had a hiccup when we first arrived with a water main leak and had no water the first night but the property manager was very attentive and made sure we had water for showers and food that night and the next morning the plumbers showed up and took care of the problem. Definitely would rent this property again for a family get a way.

Perfect Lakehouse for 8+ people!

The house was larger than expected with PLENTY of room for 8-10 people inside and outside. We never felt cramped nor inadequately spaced even for bathroom needs for such a group size. The dock and lake access couldn't have been better. Really cannot say enough positive things about this listing. Description and photos in listing were exactly as advertised. Price was very reasonable for accomodations.

Second Family Vacation

We are a family of 9 - three generations - ages 7 to 73. This home was ideal. It's large, with bedrooms on all three floors (first, second and terrace level). The living room and kitchen were plenty big for the whole family and the back porch/deck - which is the full width of the house - faces the lake and was perfect for us to spend so much outdoor time on. The views of the lake are awesome, and the dock and floating dock made it fun to just sit out or swim. Even found time to light the fire pit and make s'mores this year. We found this gem last summer, and after spending time there last year decided it was the place for our family vacation again. And we'll most likely be going back again next year. Thank you Chez Wiig for a fabulous family vacation!

Everything was as described in the listing. The house has ample room throughout. Brian, the property manager, met us on time and was extremely helpful by showing us the entire property upon arrival. Will look forward to staying here again!

Great week at the lake!

My husband and I, our adult children, and their families, all met up for a week at the lake. (Ages 7 to 72.) This house is perfect for multiple families with bedrooms on three levels - main, terrace and second floor. The rooms were all spacious, the kitchen well appointed - even having a Keurig which we greatly appreciated being we’re all big coffee drinkers, the two level back porch was wonderful with a beautiful view of the lake! The dock was fun to lay out and swim, and the location perfect if you want to rent a boat. Wide and deep part of the lake. Brian, the Property Manager, was very personable, close by if we needed anything and very knowledgeable of the area. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you Kathy and Brian.

Spring Break

Long weekend with family. Included grandchildren. They enjoyed fishing and all the amenities. House was great! Brian, the local property manager was great to work with. We plan on booking again. Only regret was forgetting to sign the guest book before leaving.

Thanksgiving 2021

We had a great time at the rental. The house set on a hill up from Lake Wedowee in which it was an easy access to walk to and fish or set on the dock and enjoy the view. The house itse'f was big enough to accomodate our famly. The location is a drive from the small town, walmart was 20 miles away. I would like to stay in the summertime to get to enjoy the lake more.

Fun weekend!

We booked the weekend to celebrate my birthday. The house had plenty of room for our group. We enjoyed hanging out at the dock and swimming in the lake (with good access from the house). We also enjoyed hanging out on the large deck. Great views and lots of wonderful memories were made. Thank you! We will look at coming back!

Very relaxing

We enjoyed our stay, it was very relaxing and a lot of room to roam. We floated and relaxed in the lake for hours and enjoyed our morning coffee on the back deck.

Great Lake House

We have stayed at several houses around lake Wedowee over the last few years. This by far is the best house we have rented. It was clean, spacious, and had a great yard going down to the lake that included a fire pit. We will definitely come back to this house again.
