Nice welcome goodies. Ideal for a couple with comfy bed and pillows. Not really suitable for older people as lots of steps to negotiate in the property. Sofa was much more comfortable than oit appeared in the photos. Good place to sit with a drink in the garden and we really enjoyed our stay.easy to walk down to the coast path

Only problem we had was people parking across the gate ! Making it awkward to gain access !

Just got back from 3 nights stay over Easter. This is a lovely little barn conversion, very quirky and compact but with everything you need. Nice little touches like hot cross buns, tea and milk left for us, as well as a bag of nibbles and a pocket sized local guidebook. The accommodation was very clean throughout, only thing I would say to be aware of is there isn't a parking space but you can park just outside on the road / track itself so no issue.
The local area is beautiful, 10 mins walk down the road and you are on the Norfolk coast path looking out over the salt marshes. Be careful and check tide times before going out onto the marsh as you can get cut off.
15 mins drive to the west is beautiful Holkham Bay, 15 mins to the east is Cley with a peaceful pebble beach - fantastic for a walk in the evening to watch the sunset. We even saw a seal in the sea there. You really are spoilt for choice if you like walking and watching the local wildlife, the whole area is very unspoilt which we love.
We also spent some time at Wells-next-the-Sea 10 mins up the road, which is a little more touristy with gift shops, two chip shops and arcades. Very busy with it being a sunny bank holiday weekend! Also highly recommend booking one of the boat trips leaving Morston Quay to see the seals on Blakeney Point as you can't really reach them on foot.
Overall I'd highly recommend this accommodation, it's basic but a nice little base for exploring the area. Good place to rest and recharge after a day out, very peaceful and quiet.
