「This place was great. Parking was tight, but enough spaces available. Rooms were a bit dated and could use some general maintenance. Never met the front office staff, but check in and out was easy. The view made up for any problem we may have had!! 」

「Beautiful, spacious townhome full furnished with appliances and utensils for making whatever you need. Safe bears and wild turkey walk around freely and safely. We saw them a lot. A very peaceful place.」

「Nice spot by the creek. The view from the balcony was great and peaceful. The one complaint is the walls are really thin, so you can hear everything. If you have kids, they may have a hard time sleeping at first until the tvs go off. Other than that, really nice stay!」

「Perfect for our 2 night stay. Nothing fancy…clean and safe. Less than a mile walk to downtown. Great breakfast across the street. Allows dogs and has a nice grassy area outside of our door. We would definitely visit again. 」

「The property is so nice. It is dated, but comfortable, clean, and well stocked with towels and kitchen items. They even had a couple of small boxes of laundry detergent which was nice. There is a deck that overlooks the golf course to enjoy over morning coffee. The amenities were lovely - putt-putt golf, swimming, and playgrounds for the kids. We loved it! The entire staff was helpful and friendly.」

The Lodge feels like a mountain lodge from the 40s or 50s that has been transported to modern times with all the modern amenities and comforts you’d expect from a modern upscale hotel. The rooms are well appointed, mattresses thick and comfortable and even really good pillows. Great views of the lake as well throughout. Quiet.
